Can you tell me where it says that? I can't seem to find it. Or is it because the refund was issued just today?

If you check the detail of the claim, should say it right at the top.

This is what it says for me right now:

Resolution Center - Claim Details
We are temporarily unable to determine the status of your case.

I guess I just have to wait a bit to see what happens. Thanks.

I've got the same thing as Icetron; still being reviewed. We'll see how it turns out.

"The seller has initiated a refund. Please allow up to 7 days for the refund to be processed. We will notify you when the refund is complete.

This case will be closed once the refund is processed."

It says that right at the top of the page when I check the details of my open case in the resolution center.

Mine also says Status: Refund Pending on the same screen as well as Being Reviewed by Paypal, on the screen before.

Just got a refund via paypal.

Communication could have avoided half of this, as well as not trying to sell items to folks that the seller didn't actually have in their possession. Hopefully everyone else's refund comes through, and NemesisPrime has learned something from this as well.

Been about a week since the last post in this thread and I just wanted to see if anyone else has actually gotten their refund yet. I received the following info from PayPal this morning:

Quote:
Dear [Scantron],

After careful review, we have concluded our investigation of the Buyer
Complaint described below.

We have decided in your favor, however, we were unable to recover any funds
from the seller's account. As stated in the PayPal User Agreement, recovery
of funds associated with a Buyer Complaint cannot be guaranteed.

Please know that we will make our best effort to recover the funds in
question if they become available in the seller's account in the future and
will take appropriate action against the seller. Such action may include
issuing a warning, a temporary restriction, or terminating the account.
Keep in mind that PayPal uses a number of factors to determine when to take
action, including member complaints. Due to privacy laws, we cannot discuss
the details of any action taken. We hope you understand our policy and that
it assures you that you are safe using PayPal.
I also note that NP hasn't been on the site since December 11th. I'm starting to lean towards PMing the Mods about this and getting this guy added to the Deadbeat list, but I wanted to check and see if anyone else has gotten their money back before I make any moves in that direction.

I'd say give paypal a week to get the funds from his account, and so he has a reasonable amount of time after being notified so that he can get funds moved if he needs to.
