    Unfortunately, I cannot recommend dealing with squeezeplay after my experience with him.

    He PM'd me about some defective DCUC figures I was planning to return after I mentioned them in a thread. I asked for what my cost had been plus the shipping price to him and PayPal fees, nothing more. He agreed to the price but then complained about it, took over a week to pay, then accused me of "trying to piss [him] off" when I didn't intuitively know he'd changed his mind about wanting the build-a-figure parts. Despite all this, I trusted him to PayPal me the difference if shipping ended up costing more. (It did, of course, given the weight of the extra parts he ultimately wanted.) It has now been almost a month since I sent the figures, and I've heard nothing from him via PayPal, e-mail, or PM. In fact, he hasn't posted or even visited here since then.

    So, figures I planned to return for a full refund ended up losing me about $7. No huge sum, sure, but a cruddy deal in principle. If he comes back to the boards, my recommendation is to avoid a transaction.

    Squeezeplay ripped me off. Below is a long email chain between Squeezeplay and myself, but for those who don't want to read it all; I'll summarize first..

    About three weeks ago I posted in the Toyark--DCU Classics thread saying that I had four Green Lantern figures that I didn't want and would be willing to trade or sell (figures are from the Walmart Exclusive Green Lantern five pack--I only wanted the Hal Jordan). About a day later I receive a PM from Squeezeplay asking if I'd sell or trade two of the figures I had (Guy Garner and Tomar-Re). I replied to his PM saying that I'd trade them and asked if he had a list. After that Squeezeplay asks for my email address to send me a list of his items for trade. After a few email exchanges we agreed on a trade, but then when I said I'd ship my portion that Saturday, he replied to my email saying he'd ship his portion after he received the package from me. I was hesitant to do this without agreeing on a "we'll both ship by this date" agreement, but after thinking it over I realized we're talking about $15 worth of toys here; so I went ahead and agreed to ship my side and have faith that I wasn't dealing with a deadbeat. Here is the USPS tracking # of the package I sent: 03092880000236335648. As you can see it was delivered in the AM hours of March 7th. Since I hadn't heard anything from Squeezeplay, a day after it was delivered, I decided to email him to make sure everything was ok. His reply to me asking if he received his package was "I have only one thing to ask you. What the hell was that smell?!?!?!" When I replied with "they smell?" (here's the best part) he responded with "The post office called me down there because they smelled it and they didn't want to open it. It smelled like a combination of cigarette smoke and manure. It was so strong you could small it through the box and tape. I took one whiff and told them to put "return to sender" on it. It should make it back to you soon." For the record, there was nothing wrong with those figures when I packaged them and mailed them, and if there was, I'm a reasonable guy (until you screw me over), I would have paid for the return shipment, and worked something out with the guy (maybe go get another set--they were on clearance). Since I wasn't born yesterday, I knew the guy was lying (he calls lying "feeling me out" in my feedback thread) when he said the post office "called him down there because they didn't want to open his package" (the post office called him?!), a day after the package was confirmed as delivered to his door. After a few days of not receiving the figures back (it takes two days via regular USPS), I reported him to the TFW2005 mods. After that his story changed... he DID receive the figures (which he claims one had dirt all over it), and had been doing whatever he does with them (fact--see my feedback thread where he has the figures). Now he is holding the figures unless I pay him $5 and apologize to him for calling him a name (yeah, I called him a name in an email AFTER he stole from me and lied about it). These are the facts. I sent him two figures and he never paid for them or sent me anything.

    For the record here, I do not care about my financial loss (about $15-$20); it's more the principle of the situation & complete waste of my time that has me annoyed. It was a pain to copy each email like this, but I just wanted to do my part to hopefully spare someone the hassle of dealing with this guy in the future. And take note of me apologizing for questioning his request of having me send my portion first, and waiting for him (also a violation of the buy/sell/trade policy of TFW2005),.. this is what I get for being nice to Squeezeplay...

    Blue emails are sent from Squeezeplay. He replies IN your emails, so that's why you see all of my text in his replies as well.

    Hi,
    Thanks for the email addy. Here are some thing you should know:

    1. Please whatever you do, do NOT quote this entire list in your reply
    2. Your best bet is to send me back a list of each item you want, not just one. In order of priority would be best.
    3. An item with an asterisk after it on my haves list means trading only for priority items on the wants. If an item on my haves has no price it means trade-only. Asterisks after my wants items denotes how badly I want that item only within it's wave or line.

    Massive list of toys here.

    Wow, that is some list you have there. I'm not going to lie, half of it confused the hell out of me with all the acronyms and various lines (I'm new to DC collecting), but I'll throw this at you and see what you have or can do..

    - DCUC Riddler (hat wearing version or spandex version, open or loose, as long as he's complete)
    - DCUC Penguin (didn't see him on your list, but I could've missed him)
    - DCUC Deathstroke (with mask)

    I'm really only interested in the more mainstream guys from the more mainstream lines like Batman, Superman, GL, Justice League characters. I have DCUC Kyle, Hal, Superman, Batman, Joker... so there's still a lot I want.

    Lol. Yep.

    I'm not going to lie, half of it confused the hell out of me with all the acronyms and various lines (I'm new to DC collecting),

    Here's a key to help:

    BAF = Build-A-Figure
    C&C = Collect And Connect
    DCSH = DC Superheroes
    DCUC = DC Universe Classics
    DCD = DC Direct
    FFM = Fantastic Four movie
    FFML = Hasbro's FF Legends
    FO = Face-Offs
    H = Hasbro
    HC = Hulk Classics
    HL = Hasbro's Hulk Legends
    LCBH = Legendary Comic Book Heroes
    ML = Marvel Legends
    MS = Marvel Select
    SHS = SuperHero Showdown
    SMC = Spider-Man Classics
    SMT = Spider-Man Trilogy
    TB = Toy Biz
    TP = Two-Pack
    MIP = figure is mint in it's package
    MOC = mint on blister card
    NM = near mint
    so MINMP would be a mint figure in a near mint clamshell/box etc., whereas MIP or MOC would be a mint figure in possibly a damaged package, possibly a mint one though.

    but I'll throw this at you and see what you have or can do..

    - DCUC Riddler (hat wearing version or spandex version, open or loose, as long as he's complete)

    So a DCUC5 Riddler mint figure with cane for both Guy and Tomar is doable?

    - DCUC Penguin (didn't see him on your list, but I could've missed him)

    Nope, don't have him right now.

    - DCUC Deathstroke (with mask)

    You should grab the All-Star Deathstroke. You should be able to either find him at retail or online, at various forums/eBay etc.

    I'm really only interested in the more mainstream guys from the more mainstream lines like Batman, Superman, GL, Justice League characters. I have DCUC Kyle, Hal, Superman, Batman, Joker... so there's still a lot I want.

    You might have lost me. Do you want to come up with a "we'll both ship by this date," and provide a DC/tracking #, or just pass? I have a few pages of positive feedback on TFW2005, but I'd rather not just blindly ship figs. The last time I did that I got screwed (**** of TFW2005) by a ****. The $ (cost of figs) isn't the issue, I just rather avoid the hassle. Let me know if you're ok with that. No hard feelings either way. Thanks.

    I was out all day today.

    I have been online for around 10 years and in that time have gathered around 1000+ feedback from 500-600 ppl on around 15-20 forums. If I give you all those references would you feel more secure sending first?

    Lol. I hadda ask, cause some people keep the dark green lanterns for their own GL customs etc. (which I do).

    Even if you were keeping the lanterns the deal would still be fine with me. But I'm very happy to get them. I have exactly 2 guys now that need them (Med. and Naut.).

    I don't, but my DCUC list is pretty short because I just got into that line about two months ago. I also collect TF's, Marvel Universe, and MOTUC. I'm also the type that if a fig from a line I don't care about catches me, I'll usually buy it, so I have a lot of misc things from impulse buys. My fiance is away for the weekend so I'm pretty much sitting around playing with toys and watching TV this weekend (I could get used to this--maybe I'll change the locks haha), so I'll create a list of things later today and send it over either tonight or tomorrow.

    Sorry to ruffle your feathers about the shipping stuff the other day.. I'm still pissed about being screwed over from some other guy, so I'm a little more cautious these days.

    I'll be in touch.

    Well, I never said you had to send a DC UNIVERSE list... ^_^

    They smell? I actually opened the GL 5-pack just to get those out to ship (I was going to open it, just hadn't got to it yet), so they were sealed in their package until the night before I shipped them. If they smell you can send them back to me.

    The post office called me down there because they smelled it and they didn't want to open it. It smelled like a combination of cigarette smoke and manure. It was so strong you could small it through the box and tape. I took one whiff and told them to put "return to sender" on it.

    It should make it back to you soon.

    Because it seems made up. I don't smoke cigarettes, I don't live on a farm,.. or have a manure fetish. Those 2 figs were sealed in their GL package until 10 minutes before I packed them for you; and I just bought that GL set about 2-3 weeks prior to this trade we agreed on--that you started to begin with. I've sold numerous things from my personal collection and not a single person I've dealt with had anything other than very positive feedback. And why exactly would your post office open the package in the first place? Do they normally open your mail at the office? ..and call you? Thanks for wasting my time.

    **Picture attached here of USPS delivery confirmation showing delivered on Mon--the day before Squeezeplay claims the Post Office he called him to come and get the smelly package**

    Ok, I have one final question for you.

    How did you pack this box? And don't leave out any details.

    Well the very first thing I did was completely lather up with manure. Then I put ten Camel no-filters in my mouth at one time and fired them all up. After that I was ready to pack some boxes to run over to The Post Office Saturday morning. What are you actually The Riddler now? Cmon man, this is ridiculous.. over what $15-$20 worth of toys. What are you asking me exactly? You want a blow by blow of how I packaged two action figures?

    Hey Riddler, I still haven't received my figures back. Are you such a bum that you're stealing $10-$15 worth of action figures? It's been a week since you've received them; it took two days for me to get them to you. **** loser.

    --------------------
    End of email chain.

    And here is a group shot I took of my Lantern figs the very night I packaged Guy and Tomar. Take note of Guy's condition--it looks good to me.

    Tried making a deal with squeezeplay, and he instead insulted me and compared the deal to him killing my dog, WTF...possibly the rudest guy I've dealt on tfw with.

    I definitely owe Squeezplay some long awaited and deserved POSITIVE feedback for several deals

    1)He traded me a DCUC Public Enemies Major Force in Return for some spare DCUC figures I had that were collecting dust. FOr our first transaction it was smooth and worked out great.

    2) I hadn't realized I didn't have a display base for Major Force so we did a sweet little deal where I sent him some spare parts from a Weaponer of Qward figure in return for a base

    And as we're about to complete another deal I'll be leaving him some more in the near future. Collin thanks very much :thumbs2:

    Squeezeplay bought some DCUC figures from me, and the deal couldn't have gone better. Recommended!
