Does it matter if it's been primed with paint?

Is the paint red? I really need it to be the red. I picked up a... well I don't know what it is to be honest. It's classics Sideswipe with a red Sunstreaker head done up with the canadian flag and what not. Got it last years TFcon. And he's missing that part. I forgot about it till recently.

It was primed black, but I can make it red (which shade). Do you need the windows painted as well?

If you can match the red of Classics Sideswipe as best you can that would be awesome. If the windows are clear that works as well.
