Wanted: FOC Grimlock Sword and Shield and/or painting advice

    I recently bought a redeco of Fall Of Cybertron Grimlock from the Target-exclusive 2-pack. However, I'm not particularly happy with the coloration on the sword and shield, and painting something that's already transparent sounds like a massive pain. As a result, I want to see about buying the ones that came with the original FOC Grimlock. I live on the east coast of the U.S., and can pay via PayPal.

    That said, if anyone has advice on how to paint/modify these pieces to look like the originals, that would also be greatly appreciated.

    I heard permanent marker, when you rub it off it changes the color.

    Also if you repaint it normally, you WILL have to use quite a bit of paint to cover it well.
