Edit: We started a Faction Sticker Exchange! TFW2005 Sticker Exchange

List what you have, and what you want. Use the filtering tools to find a match, and PM the member listed to set up a trade. Trade stickers for the price of a stamp instead of buying whole, expensive sheets! This is a "beta," no one here guarantees inter-user satisfaction, so please play fair ;)

It's no secret the various sticker companies charge way too much for these things, and when you buy them you get a whole sheet and only end up using a quarter of it. Then the rest don't work with other color figures etc. For instance I have metallic foil ones for both factions but I need a couple larger, white-outlines ones for Quavewave, and some really small black or purple ones for Feral Rex.

Good idea, we should. I have plenty of unused reprolabels.

It would be nice if we could do it with some sort of simple online database - just using a series of posts would get unruly really fast. And it's different than B/S/T where the sales are to-from a single person. Any developer ideas?

How about Google Sheets? We can just list everything there, everyone can edit and add records.

You guys can try adding items to this Sheet. I just posted a Jetfire sheet as an example.

only problem I see with this is making sure everyone keeps their listing current. other than that this sounds great.

No reason they wouldn't want to, otherwise they'll get a bunch of nonsense PMs for stuff they don't have.

I added a bunch more fields for faction, color and material specifics. Now we just need to hope no-one comes along and destroys it for fun... Archie should we password-protect it between the two of us? Just the layout part I mean (if possible), anyone can add their own entries of course...

Yeah, it would be great if we can restrict public access to adding records. I'll look into it. If any of you guys have ideas, please let us know.

And dude, maybe you can post the Sheet link in the first post.

I have one idea I was wondering about. is there any way you can move line 3 down and where the symbol sizes are could you put a exact pic of it so that people (including myself) who don't know mm can have a pic to reference to?

The problem with that is you can't represent exact, physical sizes on a computer screen. It's all relevant to your screen size and resolution, not to mention dependent on who took the photo and what scale they posted it at. Keep a ruler handy. Someone clever with a LOT of stickers and a very common figure (Classics Prime for example) could create a reference chart perhaps? But only if someone's willing to waste their stickers and spend the time... my foil ones were too damn expensive :)

@tfwmongrel, I was thinking of selling/giving away my extra reprolabels here too. So it would not just be a "faction" sticker exchange. Is that okay?

Locking the layout has the unfortunate side affect of not letting you use filtering. Which will be really handy if it gets big.

Absolutely! When a mod comes along he can revise my post title - but we already accounted for faction vs miscellaneous in the sheet.

Okay, thanks. We had to change it back because if we protect the header rows, it's not possible to filter.

If this works, I will suggest to the mods that we do something like this for the Junkion Exchange

If someone sets up a system that works...I am totally down. I could not count the amount of times I have overpaid for random labels. This is an excellent idea.
