Quick question: are the Kreons Cliffjumper and Wheeljack from the 2012 Kre-o sets OFFICIALLY part of the Aligned Universe (aka 'Prime' franchise), or are they OFFICIALLY G1 Universe? Or are they Unofficially either or, as there is no clear indication and they both fit perfectly under each Universe? Quick question: are the Kreons Cliffjumper and Wheeljack from the 2012 Kre-o sets OFFICIALLY part of the Aligned Universe (aka 'Prime' franchise), or are they OFFICIALLY G1 Universe? It seems like the 2012 Kre-o 'Quest for Energon' sets have their build-able robots based on 'Prime' cartoon or movieverse characters, but their included Kreon figures don't always match universes. I'm only interested in G1 universe, so trying to figure out what Kreons I should AVOID amongst all the 2011 and 2012 box sets. From what I understand, the 2013 and 2014 Kreo building sets are exclusively Beast Hunters and Movieverse. Or did a G1 character Kreon sneak into one of those boxes? Any help would be great! There's no solid evidence that Cliffjumper and Wheeljack are from G1 or Prime. Personally, I feel they're G1. It seemed like Kre-O's priority was to get the G1 guys done as Kreons first. Wheeljack and Cliffjumper are too important to not start with G1 versions. At that point they've done most of the other main G1 characters already so it only makes sense that they're G1 too. That's my justification. Still, I think many here will put them with whatever show they want on display. If Kre-O made Prime versions, they'd probably just have slightly different torso prints as they'd obviously use the same helmets so they wouldn't be too different anyway. All the original sets have G1 Kreons. Don't know about Sentinel but he's irrelevant to me. 2012 had a variety of Kreons but the sets you should go after are the ones with Devastator/Ironhide, Cliffjumper, and Wheeljack. For 2013, the sets were Beast Hunters-based but the tiny sets with Windcharger and Trailbreaker have G1 Kreons. 2014 was all movie-based except Grimlock Unleashed where you'll find the Grimlock Kreon.
