I've sent offers for figures that I thought no way would they accept it, but they did ($70 for MINT/COMPLETE G1 Wheeljack and Ironhide).
That being said your price is very fair. I won a Darksyde Megs from Botcon last year and someone offered $600 right there for it and it didn't have the bio card. Good luck with your sale. |

Hollywood- No, I got the impression he was either intentionally lowballing me, or having a joke. |

That same week, I got Megs, Waspy, Buzzsaw, and Laserbeak for $290. Me and the seller were both very happy - he got more than he paid, I saved alot versus eBay. It all just depends on the person ;-)
But intentionally lowballing people just to try to get stuff cheap for resale, or for screwing around, isn't very cool. CHEAP! G1 parts and junkers Wants (G1, G2, BW, Exclusives, Parts) My Collection Feedback |

Lots of times people will post things, and there's no recent eBay auctions, and/or it's an uncommon item, so it really is a stab in the dark. I'm sure I've been thought of as a lowballer more than once, although that was never my intention.
If you say "just taking offers", it's obvious you're trying to "max out" what you could sell it for. And that's fine, I don't blame you. But you're also going to have to deal with people who think maybe you're more interested in just offloading goods (which alot of people are - I've gotten some great deals thoughout the years). So, for the oppurtunity to make an extra $10-50, you'll have to deal with people offering you well under market value (although they may be good intentioned folk, and that's what they can spare at the time).
I guess my point is - if you're the type to be offended by someone offering you less than you think your item is worth, then either put "I'd take X for this, but also taking offers", or just accept it. CHEAP! G1 parts and junkers Wants (G1, G2, BW, Exclusives, Parts) My Collection Feedback |
