According to Planet Iacon, Masterpieces MP-10 (Optimus Prime), MP-11 (Starscream), MP-12 (Sideswipe) and MP-14 (Red Alert) are getting reissued next year:

Good news for anyone who's still looking for a Takara MP-10.

Edit: As Spark Extractor points out below, it looks like MP-12 and MP-14 are scheduled for February 2015, MP-11 for March, and MP-10 for April, based on the numbers in the picture. Also, apparently this is a direct Takara reissue, not one from Hasbro Asia like with the previous MP-11 reissue.

 

Cool - need to pick me up an 11 and a 14.

 

Mp11 is probably the only MP i need to get as of now.

 

Wasn't Starscream and Sideswipe JUST reissued with Red Alert coming out in the fall?

Damn these releases are getting confusing. 

 

Since this is a Japanese re-release we can get some great deals. AE has 30% off, for example, so MP-12/14 will be about $41 each and MP-10 will be about $154 and MP-11 about $97. (+shipping of course)

I know I'll be getting Takara MP-10 and an extra Red and Swipe.

Man this is great, and I have a feeling they will fix the qc on red and swipe for paint issues and panel alignment.


Edit: looks like MP-12/14 in Feb 2015, MP-11 in March 2015 and MP-10 in April 2015. Sweet!

 

And lo, I shall have the non-KO versions of SS and RA to go with all the others. Hopefully we see AE or HLJ put up preorders. Also will get the Starscream, since at the discounted AE/HLJ prices, it'll be close to what Hasbro would sell it for if they ever do.

 

I'll definitely be getting an MP-10...if this news is true. I feel sorry for all those who paid after market prices...not!  

 

In that case I'm in for an Alert with AE pricing.

 

Anyone who doesn't have TT's MP-10 needs to jump on it. Hasbro's decos do not compare to this work of art.

 

Looks like I'll have overpaid then if the last reissues were Asian reissues.

I need to pick up MP-10. Glad to hear he's finally getting a reissue.

 

Not bad prices, and seems the norm for Takara right now, reissues/recolors in the first half of the year, new molds in the second.

 

mp10 reissue awesome! will leave selling one of my tru mp10 to get takaras for now then and off load it closer to this reissue
