Huh...Starscream has YELLOW eyes, while everyone else lines up to the typical red/blue thing. I wonder if that was just a mistake...

 

'Tis, although that seems to be a compulsive repaint for Hasbro. I actually prefer movie Ratchet's colors on movie Ratchet though.

 

Nice images. That Ratchet repaint actually looks pretty good. Definitely better than the green & white deco. I might actually get this version of it. Not a fan of the Mechtech weapon the first version comes with, but I do like the Skids one, so Ratchet coming with a repaint of it helps a bit. The deco on this repaint reminds me of Universe Ratchet (the RID X-Brawn repaint).

The headshots used for packaging are nice. It's just too bad that the Megatron one has that weird stroke on it.

That movie Ratchet repaint looks like it's supposed to be a homage to the original Inferno design way back from the first movie, before they chose Ratchet.

Ratchet is rather interesting but honestly while the ratchet design is one on my favs it really needs a new design

if that ratchet would had a new head, he would be mine (and named Inferno), but with the original head, looks a bit... "old" xD big beard and white hair... leave that to Einstein-bot

 

So I'm starting to feel 99.99% positive that we won't be getting a new Voyager class Ratchet, other than a repaint  

 

that does look a cool ratchet.   im hoping its a new voyager mould and not a deluxe. you can tell it isnt either the voyager or deluxe weve seen berfore cos its got a longer back on the vehicle and differnt shaped shoulders in robot mode.

 

Yeah. What's funny is that we are actually are getting another Voy. Ratchet repaint for DOTM. Luckily, it's just a Target exclusive, so it won't be everywhere, but still.

I really dig this red repaint. What had really held me back from getting behind the new deluxe DOTM Ratchet was its visual similarity to ROTF NEST Ratchet (yes, I know it's a totally different mold, and it's got a slightly different deco, but still). However, I really hope that, if this red version gets a domestic release, they keep the buzzsaw of the first release and not Skids' gun.

 

It's a repaint of the new Deluxe class mold that's being released in the first wave of the DotM toyline... (aka this guy)

I'm pretty sure this is the Hasbro/domestic release of this repaint. Takara tends to not photoshop their official photos like Hasbro does.

 

I always preferred the Concept Ratchet over what we got (not just the colors, but the design itself). The new Ratchet mold in these colors looks nice to me. I doubt I'll buy it, though.
