Sounds good to me. I'll have to remember to watch it this year. The combination of the two parodies should make for a funny episode.

Remember when the Halloween specials actually did parodies of scary and Halloween related themes, and not just whatever's popular at the time?

Edit: Ok, I read the article. Next years sounds much better

 

Ugh why the movie designs -_-' at least they can be evil for a reason.

 

Sounds great to me. A couple of all time favorites interacting for about 5-7 minutes (as usual Simpsons Halloween eps split into 3 scenarios). I hope they, too, get a big movie sequel in motion.

 

It says they'll do a joke about fast zombies vs. slow zombies.

If zombies were real, they'd move slow because their muscles are rotting and will not be as strong.

 

Another segment lampoons Michael Bay's Transformers movie. "What happens is Bart gets a Christmas present from a 99 Cent store, and it turns out to be a Transformer. They take over Springfield, and they're fighting all over the place. Then Marge says to the Transformers, 'Why do you have to fight?' And they go, 'We agree. We'll just team up and take over you guys.'"

Homer Simpson gets to weigh in on the "fast-running zombies vs. slow, George Romero zombies" debate. "We do a joke where Homer sees the zombies coming, and he goes, 'Oh, zombies, you can always outrun them.' Then they start running really fast, and he says, 'Stupid fast-running modern zombies.'"

Didn't the Simpsons already parody Transformers in the Chocobots Mattel/Nestle Conglomeration fun hour?

 

Meh, I lost interest for the Simpsons back in season 10. Knowing this, it might be worth watching.

 

Yay! I can't wait! And holy smokes Fox is actually going to air the Halloween special relatively close to Halloween itself!

 

I'll have to remember to watch it, sounds like it will be entertaining.

 

Yeah, I haven't watched the show in many years, and I was a huge Simpsons fan all the way back with season 1. It's awful to see what a pile of shit a show I was so fond of growing up has turned into.

Still, at least it isn't as bad as King of the Hill. Why on Earth is that thing still on the air?

 

They also did a parody in this one ep where Milhouse and Bart ran the comic book shoppe and fought each other with transformers that became an axe and water can.
