This is great. I also absolutely love that art of all the fembots, though I wish Aileron and the Torchbearers and Nickel were there. Still awesome though!

As much of an eye roller as this is that female Tf one they did is so gonna be my phones wallpaper. Its a shame most of those TFs didn\'t get toys.

 

 

I really like how IDW thinks this is a thing worth releasing, I just hope someone posts it online so we can look at any cringe that's discovered within it cuz I ain't buying that shit. This is such a puerile thing to even consider publishing.

Apparently that's this gen's version of Aja? I dunno. I mean, I watched Jem as a kid and while a lot of the stories didn't resonate with me, the idea seemed neat. These gals are definitely not my Holograms.

In all seriousness, great for those that like the book, but I would love to see updated versions of the OG designs That said, some of the character designs are pretty chic though and really updated well. Pizzazz looks like she should be hanging out with the Drednoks. Some of the new characters overall are kinda cool, too. Misty looks new (could be wrong) and her marbleized hijab is pretty sweet.

...how? They're a pop band that, at least in the old show, occasionally fought crime and/or corporate corruption. I don't see how one of them being overweight really affects that. Hell, even Batman had a wheelchair bound assistant once upon a time.

I mean, don't get me wrong. Not a huge fan of plus size Aja, but that's because I'm used to the old show and kinda shallow/superficial that way. That said, if Big Aja is what's getting asses in the seats, then whatever, right? The concept does allow for it. It's not like they're trying to convince me she's a parkour ninja warrior.

Edit: So yeah, just got back from doing a work thing and shared an elevator with a hilariously obese police officer. Being heavy and fighting crime are definitely not mutually exclusive.

I'll never understand why people still like comics. They seem to just ride off of nostalgia and hipster culture while being "edgy" and "woke" and "owning" non-existent "bad" people with their comics that nobody reads. It's pretty sad really that adults cling to them as if they were greater than the works of Shakespeare when really pulp garbage is of higher quality.
