Sadly I think this confirms ratchet has the dark of the moon background some speculated that was for someone else not that it wolnt be reused later.

Again I say I think but I can't tell for sure

 

Okay good, Bug Bee comes with the same accessories as his two-pack counterpart. I was worried they'd make those exclusive to the two pack a la Starscream's saw arm being exclusive to his tattooed version.

 

I think I'll only get Bumblebee and Ratchet.

 

I think it's likely its like the Mission city background; its gonna be included in a lot of other figures as long as the character showed up in the final battle.

Good to see Bee keeps the silver on his feet that we saw at SDCC

 

and again those supposed meassures that are not true
that person said lockdown was 16 cms, and all but we all know is just 13/14 cms
it is impossible that bumblebee is 15 cms, that would make him as tall as rotf sideways, and we know from the photos of the sdcc that he was closer to the old camaro ss bumblebee that is 11cms
really where does this dude get its meassures?

 

I already have the original Ratchet, and as nice as it is, I don’t really need it again in a different colour scheme. I have the gold Bumblebee on pre-order, so I’ll probably skip this one. And Shadow Raider doesn’t really appeal to me all that much, being a random nobody.

In short, these are an easy pass, which is good. I’ve been pouring so much money in this line, my wallet could do with a quick break.

 

Just give me a September release on my little Bumbleboy to hold me over until the MPM.

 

Is it just me or does anyone else keep seeing Alternators Swindle every time they see this Bumblebee?

Me too.. I feel like it's not right to introduce new character models via the "Studio Series" line. They need the practice that comes with messing up the first release.. SS should've be kept as a collector line. I mean, who the hell wants those repaints? I get it though, I understand why they're doing this.

I cannot unsee Bumblebee's pig face. And they clearly based the toy on a CGI model that didn't end up getting used (he doesn't have door wings in the actual trailers, plus there are too many discrepancies, most notably the "shape" of the body).

 

Bumblebee is way out of scale (about 1.5 inches taller than the first Studio Series Bumblebee) if he is actually 6 inches tall.
