Think this is the first look we've had of the original trilogy Optimus truck from Jada. There's also the g1 truck we've seen and what's meant to be an TLK truck, but is just the Peterbilt in TLK packaging (though assuming it'll actually be a rerelease of the TLK truck, as I've seen somewhere that TLK Bumblebee has been rereleased in the same way ).

The G1 one looks pretty cool. The retro packaging is neat. It is a licensed vehicle?

They both look pretty good, but the front tire is set a little to far back on G1 prime. The blue does look pretty light on the first trilogy prime but maybe that's partly from the flash. TLK Prime is a really nice metallic blue and its really hard to tell here but it would be a shame if this prime isn't the same. The yellow on the front is really making me question if any metallic paint is on this since the yellow should be gold, unless it was done to cut cost which means maybe this time no metallic blue. Definitely will pick both up when I see them, as I said I think they still look pretty good.

Won’t be. For some reason it’s been based on MP-10 not a real Freightliner truck.

Movie Primes smokestacks are backwards. Their angle cut is supposed to be going this way: |\ Like what you see there on the G1 truck model.

Fairly yeah. Standout difference is MP-10s engineering places his front wheel about central to the cab. It’s supposed to be right in the front corner, then the ladder behind it is used for climbing in the door. MP-10s ladder right in the back corner of the cab wouldn’t be much use! V3 Prime has fixed this. This is definitely not close enough to be licensed.

I kinda like it, although the proportions of the 2007 truck look a bit wonky. Maybe it’s just the perspective of the pictures or the packing though. The blue also seems a tad lighter than it should be, but it still looks nice.

First trilogy Optimus looks really bad. Long, skinny smokestacks that are backwards and the flame job is bad too. Need some good pics of it outta package but it is a bummer right now.

Edit: and the running lights are orange instead of blue.

They messed up the G1 Prime, the Front tires are suppose to be closer to the front bumper like on a actual cab over Freightliner from the 80s

More likely, your grandma will THINK this transforms and buy it for a very disappointed kid. :(

On the other hand? I just heard this from a 10-12 yr old at Target: "I don't like Transformers; I can never figure out how to transform them." :rolleyes2

Cue the "kids these days...!" rant! :D

Looks like the RPM subline from ROFT making a comeback, it's a line of non transforming vehicles that was made to compete with hotwheels with the robot modes sculpted on the bottom, this time it looks like it will be made for higher end toy car collectors
