I am so hyped for Predaking after Toy Fair, even after the couple days of decompressing, because it accomplishes the one thing I want out of any transforming toy: It does something interesting. The limbs contributing mass to the combined torso is such a neat idea and serves the proportions of the overall modes so well. I actually would have been fine with no waist swivels if it meant the torsos cracking in half to better hide the "backpacks" if only just to further the illusion that THEY COMBINE and they look GREAT.

I feel like you didn’t convey to Seth that only the Optimus and Starscream are model kits. The rest of the Flame Toys stuff are high-end action figures.

Personally, I think y'all should be proud you made it ten years. You've stayed entertaining all this time and have built a really pleasant sub-community.

Also, best news to come out of Toyfair in my book is MEGA CONSTRUX HELLBOY FUCK YEAH.

You guys didn’t know? Stinger is not a hugger. He is actually adamantly against hugging so much so that he made sure it was impossible for others to try hugging him

Does anyone else feel like the bumblebee movie was in some sort of branding hell (development hell's whinier cousin)? Sharing the "studio series" branding with the old franchise feels weird. Lack of characters may be a reason, but '07 was in the same boat and it at least tapped unrelated toys under the movie's label.

If their shared universe throwdown goes well the event film might be fun in a Heroes of the Storm kinda way.

I find it interesting that the power rangers film... existed and now the company that knows how to make good combiners (again) owns them.

Kuro Kara Kuri would be an awesome line for designs that never got alt modes. Like Starscream's True Form and so on.

Regarding Stinger's back saw blades. People keep forgetting they're part of the cg model.

Here's a larger image showing them on the Bee version.

The Mark I is a rerelease of on old figure. Been collecting Legends forever. It’s not a new mold. It was released in an Iron Man toyline, but in legends scale.

    Two Questions for the team-

One short one: Hopefully we will see a retool of BattleTrap as FlyWheels. If so, what would be your preferred names for the newly individually transforming pant and shirt bots? I’m working on Flydevil and Heavywheels. How about you?

Second question- slightly longer. If we found ourselves in a place where duocons and duobots caught on, what combos would you like to see? I would personally love to see a take on Shock and Ore or maybe Sonic and Boom. But then, I would also love to see some crazy stuff like beast combiners, a dog bot with a cat bot, a fish with a bear. And of course- all interchangeable with the head-in-butt connector. I can’t say I’m thrilled about Energon powerlinx rehashes, but then, even that might be a cool Generations way of adding in some Unicron trilogy figures. Your turn!

You should probably pm this to Vangelus. He might miss, or forget about it if it's just here.
