There goes our hope of a Unite Warriors revival.

 

Well there goes the UW dream. Guess I'll go ahead and buy all the Hasbro Dinobots next time I see them.  

 

And my hope of a cartoon colored Abominus. Unless TakaraTomy decide to tweak the colors for their POTP Terrorcons.

 

Well, at least I know that I should pick up Darkwing and Dreadwind when I can, as well as the Terrorcons, if Volcanicus isn’t getting a UW boxset.

 

I wonder if they will do the Buster and Hydra color schemes or just leave them unaltered.

 

I still think there's a chance Takara will make an LG boxset of Hydra/Buster

 

Saw that coming thanks to that one world one toy thing were they are effectively fazeing out different versions from different companies. Eh oh well saves me money in the long run so I can't complain.

 

I think that would make a brilliant TTS exclusive. Fingers crossed.

 

Who cares? Why pay more for a Hasbro figure in a Takara box?

 

Im not surprised at all we knew they were going this way months ago brand unification I think they'll do a few tt mall exclusives

 

It's the only set I wanted out of this POTP line. No cartoon colored Abominus. No sale for me.

 

Simultaneously disappointed and relieved. I was hoping for the return of UW sets but am glad there won't be as many UW exclusives to chase down.

Heck, at this rate if there *are* they may be sold solo...

Im undecided for now. If we get more MPs YAY!! If we dont BOO as I used the Takara line to keep me busy with the slow pace of MP releases. Guess it's safe to the MPMs will be the same this year with not even minor differences like this year.


I was really hoping Takara was going to do something with the metallic colors of the Dinobots, the gold they use is depressing. Guess its time to invest in some chrome pens.

 

Really sucks that the Dinobots won't get a proper treatment with weapons like Swoop's wing missiles, not to mention more intricate paint jobs. Really sucks. 3rd parties are going to get a lot more of my money again starting in 2018.

TakaraTomy has become a major letdown company. Let's hope the crows don't start circling, but this is clearly going to hurt them.

Well now I can definately wait for the 3rd party versions.
