    The problems with the alt mold and color and whatnot do really bother me, especially this being what should be a definitive version, but God damn if I'm not still super excited to have this figure in my hands.

    I've been on the fence with this figure, however I'm leaning towards skipping this and the whole MPM line as this is the only figure that had my slightest interest anyways.

    Nice write-up regardless thanks for all the insight Tony.

    I did a write up myself a while back comparing this toy to the Camaro Models.

    I see all that, and how much of it is specific to him looking like the Mass Market release, and it kind of makes me wonder if Chevy/GM might have had some responsibility for some stranger licensing reason??? Otherwise it is just really bizarre how utterly wrong all that is for a figure executed at this level. (especially the color and front fascia being wrong)

    How does he look next to Human Alliance Jazz?  Because as much as I like this figure, if he doesn\'t scale or look nice next to my other movie Autobots, I don\'t think I can justify getting him right now.

     So...is this going to be on store shelves?  Why aren\'t there any leader figures being released?  Did TLK do that bad?  Hell, there aren\'t even Jada models in stores.

    Hmm.... I'm still gonna wait to see a review on that KO one. The 'MP' version of Battle Blade Bee, or whatever it was called. Call me crazy, but I LOVE that mold.

    Which of these does not match? Oh it's the MP which is the ONLY one that is the wrong color... I find that HILARIOUS for some reason.

    I'm pretty sure that the licensing for MPs is more stringent than on the mass produced lines. The car companies logos are featured just as prominently as the name of the character, more so, in fact on the box. To them, this is not Bumblebee, this is a Chevy Camaro, so it has to be the same color and have the same style as the actual Camaro in production, not the concept car that Bee was actually based on.

    Personally, I kinda like the color and can't wait to finally have him in hand.

    Bumblebee is a very rich color in hand and actually makes the previous bumblebees too orange looking in my opinion.

    I highly recommend this guy!

    I'd normally agree with that, except there has been 100 previous versions done exactly the opposite, and this model of Camaro is no longer in production. This was a 5th gen, and they are now on the 6th gen. And this doesn't fully represent the 5th gen first version SS faithfully either. Just closer to that than Movie 1 bumblebee.

    Don't know the actual reasons behind this though, if there are any other than someone being lazy or unlearned about the finer points.

    Are you seeking the Battle Hornet Wei Jiang Bumblebee with rubber tires and a better backpack? I've heard its got fitment issues in alt-mode, dunno if that damages your interest in it though

    Me. For the 10 dollar (20 dollar) deluxe in Wal Mart, don't care. Specifically branded Masterpiece, do care.

    I understand if most others wouldn't even notice, but I do. Especially because each movie he was slightly different, I would hope that those slight differences would be addressed each time one was put out for each movie over time. But we didn't even get the first one right.
