Official instructions this time in Chinese and purple. Strange that the first instructions had red on it although I guess it probably was a cross sale.

    Anyway it's something.

Is Nitro really a Titan Master/removable head or compatible with Cogman? Where does it say that?

I don't thing nitro is a titan master in the sence his head will make a titan master figure but a titan master will fit inside the cockpit in jet mode. Cogman also not quite a titan master in the sence he may not have anywhere to seat in alt mode but he should be compatible with all other titan masters in robot mode.

Cogman's alternate mold is hollow and he even has a molded steering wheel.

Right, sence this is a retool of AoE bumblebee the design was not the same as how chromedome and hotrod were made, as in a single driver seat that was spcificly designed to work with a TM. I don't own the aoe bumblebee so I couldn't say for sure if there was room in alt mode to fit a TM inside. The photo certainly looks like there is room, maybe even enough for two.

Where exactly are people getting this from? I've been comparing the Cogman pics to AoE Bumble for a long time and I can't see a single part that's the same. The closest thing I'm finding is that they transform similarly, but that's not surprising since neither robot design uses more than 4% of their vehicle mode.

...maybe I shouldn't have made that joke about him being a Barricade retool in the morning.

If you retool Bee's legs to remove the yellow part thats connected to his thigh and place the waist slightly lower, then upu can fit a Titanmaster in there. Cogman has both of these in his new toolings. I mean hey, maybe it won't fit in there but it could if Hasbro tried.
    1. I love the Cybertron honeycomb on the package. So cool.

    2. BY PRIMUS NITRO IS SO COOL.

I would say we have reached a point were the word retool really doesn't cut it anymore and it's more about using the engineering of a previous figure. If it makes more sense to you call it re-engineered. As in. Cogman is the re-engineered version of AoE bumblebee.

Technically, there isn't really any such thing as a retool. They just create new Molds to poor the plastic into, and everything else just re-uses the existing molds but with different colors of plastic.

All retools however, use the same CG model, or at least they seem to be modified from the original version of it. From thoses models you have every down to the dimensions I would presume. So they most likely took the AOE/TLK Bee model and went from their, then created new physical molds.

Even figures like Alpha Trion and Broadside, who share a good amount of parts, most likely had their own set of molds. What I'd like to know is how exactly these molds are used. How big are they? Do they all just make multiples of the same piece? How many do they make?

Odd how Nitro's on the cross sell and not another deluxe or two.

Looks like nitro was originally meant to be a straight up KSI boss. Good job with the last minute final CGI save hasbro :thumb  (starts trying to count how many KSI boss units there were in AOE for when he's inevitably remolded)
