Wait... so the renders we've seen give him red accents, the physical car gives him yellow accents, and the actual film gives him orange accents?



What the actual fuck?

 

Eh? The set photos all show orange accents on the car, as far as I can tell?

It's clearly just the case that they initially thought they were getting a car with red bits, but then they ended up having an orange one.

 

The car has always had orange accents lol

 

Looks yellow to me.

 

He looks fantastic. The only thing i'm finding weird about him so far is his side mirrors popping off when he transforms.

Just the lighting makes it seem lighter.

 

Reeeeeeeeally don't like this design, but at least is has some visible car kibble.

 

Hotrod looks amazing but For the first time since ROTF I'm not feeling too keen on the description of humans being "overpowering" vs the robots. With all the info that's come out it sounds like the humans will have THE single most important role in the plot...with transformers being brought along for the ride...which is completely fucking backwards from how it's supposed to be..

Not trying to sound like the crowd of people always whining the TFs need to be the only ones in the movies but it just seems this time around that the humans are gonna end up having the biggest tasks to take on which makes me wonder how the transformers factor into the story.

I'm actually starting to like the look of Hot Rod.

 

He is Bumblebee's cousin from France.

 

That's probably saying that Vivian is the only one who can use the staff that we see in the trailer and on Merlin, maybe a key of some sort? but that makes her a very important character, more so than Cade, maybe.

 

Looks great, I just hope that he isn't s wasted character like Mirage.

 

I was just about to say this. Mirage had the coolest abilities in G1, but only had about five seconds of screen time. And he didn't say anything cool.

 

I know others have mentioned it, but I really feel like the CGI was stepped up in this one compared to the downturn in quality for Age of Extinction.

I really hope Hasbro gives him the Lambo as alt mode and not a repaint of BB
