All that battle damage but they couldn't fix the lack of flames on OP.

That helmet is a beautiful work of art, that silver paint brings out so much detail; and purple eyes!

 

What's the painting process on these? Splash Prime with used motor oil and bury Bee in the backyard for a month?

The Nemesis Prime helmet is dope, though.

 

Those are actually pretty good grimey paint jobs on closer inspection.

 

Optimus Prime and Bumblebee look like they spent the day at a coal mine.

 

Optimus looks nice as the oil wash brings out a lot of the details. Unfortunately, you have to spend over $328 to get him.

 

We still haven't seen photos of new deluxe Bee in bot mode. Anyone know when we might?

 

Alternatively, you could buy the regular figures and drag them through the mud. You'll get the same look.

As for the helmet, buy a regular one and then dump a can of silver paint on it.

There you go: instant Lucky Draw figures!

I think he talks about the new bee in the final product, not the render.

 

It\'s almost as if they just took the AoE Bumblebee and covered him in dirt!

I might be nuts, but this is one of my favourite Optimus Prime figures ever, I think it just looks really good.

 

Optimus and Bumbler look like they were out on an all night bender with some cyberhookers and did some hit and runs at the same time.

 

That helmet is pretty damn awesome.  If it wasn\'t $80 I\'d buy one just to custom paint and have as a bust.  Maybe I\'ll pick at least on up when it goes on clearance. 

 

Initially I was very excited about this guy. But they haven't really made the deco improvements he needs.
