Thunderwing's head uses Mega's Titanmaster sculpt.

 

Mine came at me with a knife.

 

I'm glad other people like him, but to me Overlord is a huge disappointment. He looks like a bad custom of Skyshadow that fails to capture the look of the anime or the comic. Or hell even the original toy. At least there is one super cool version or the toy out there.

 

I bet Takara gives us an improved Overlord. I wouldn't be surprised if we get a brand new headmaster face (or at least those black bits colored blue like they should be), plus a dedicated Giga and Mega that have their engines on their backs instead of faces.

 

The colors are way too oversaturated in some of these pics.

 

Those thunder thighs on Windblade though.

 

Hey! You're right! The Titanmaster for Overlord and Black Shadow is pretty clearly Giga whilst Thunderwing's is Mega!

They had the means right there for two heads! What a disappointment!

 

Ok, Tidal Wave looks a bit better.

 

Wow, overlord makes me glad I went all in on carnifex when I did.
Nautica looks pretty bad, too.

That said, most of the others actually look great, although windblade feels a bit unnecessary.
I'm also super glad for the autobot/decepticon twins getting new toys.

Even Twintwist is there!

 

So, future wave will have the other half of the Autobot and Decepticon clones... Thunderwing reduced to Titanmaster? Bummer.

Why a new Rodimus head?

Overall, I can't wait for the released to start... Gotta Catch 'Em All!

 

Wind Blade is a waste of a spot that could have gone to a far more deserving character, but besides her and Nautica I like what I see. Mostly in love with Octane and Blitzwing, tbh. And I love the Laser Prime deco on Voyager Prime.

 

I'm not sure whether to be pissed off or amused after seeing that Tidal Wave. Part of me wanted to get it for my legends collection after the first reveal but no instead I think I'm just going to buy another figure of Tidal Wave as Micron Legend Shockwave (since I don't own that version). Maybe this update of Tidal Wave will catch the attention of 3rd parties and we'll get a Titan Class sized Tidal Wave figure that way or maybe in a few years once figures of Omega Supreme and Scorponok have been made we'll get a Titan Class Tidal Wave (not some silly retool an original figure) from Hasbro. I need Tidal Wave to be as big as life.

 

There is so much win here...

Nautica is just perfect, wonderful, and I only ever heard of her through the Dark Cybertron pack ins from the Thrilling 30 line so I'm getting her just for more girl power on the shelves.
Quickswitch I see his renders aren't as faithful and more like his pops but still this guy needs some love and I'm glad he gets a new figure to stand beautifully on the CHUG shelf.
Fastlane & Pounce is perfect too, really hope to see Cloudraker & Wingspan in the future. Don't care if they're is Legends or not.
Optimus Prime, meh he's nice but do I need two TR Voyager Prime's on my shelf? The answer is yes.
Blitzwing is a perfect update and much better already by pics alone then his Thrilling 30 counterpart.
Octane looks perfect too, can't wait to have all six major tc's in the voyager scale.
Overlord is okay, now that I have a job need to hunt down Blaster, Soundwave, and get Sixshot & Black Shadow before I bother getting him.
Ginrai, well its a good thing I have a chance to get him since I don't collect Takara.
Seaspray is a win too, what is that that he is holding?
Metalhawk is amazing! Wish he had a sword but he will go well with Botcon 2012 Metalhawk.
Quite satisfied with Tidal Wave, more Armada is always a win.
Can't say much about Twin Twist, he is already perfect going off my experiences with Topspin.
And as a Windblade fan I'm quite satisfied to have another on my shelf that is now a fun Headmaster.
My CHUG shelf is going to come along nicely these next few months.

Metalhawk & Twin Twist are the defining winners of all revealed today. With Octane and Nautica coming a close third and fourth.

 

If we do get a Titan Tidal Wave, he better split into the Dark Fleet instead of triple changing. I think that would be more fun and interactive than another big damn base mode.

Agree with nearly everything except for the bit on the major disappointment that is Nautica.

 

Hoo hoo hoo some really interesting stuff here, most excited for Windblade honestly. Wish Overlord didn\'t have blue thighs and Quickswitch wasn\'t just Sixshot in cosplay, but I\'m pleased with everyone else (especially Twin Twist).

Two big questions:

a) Why is Cosmos getting a reissue of his 2013 mold?

b) What the heck happened with Tidal Wave\'s deco? That\'s not even close to how any of his previous colour schemes looked.

 

So that Magnus Prime huh. I feel for everyone that just spent a bunch on Ginrai.

Overlord is very... Plain looking I hate to say.

 

But have you seen the elbows on Windblade? I could live with the reused thighs, but god, do those elbows look like crap.

b) Those were his Armada cartoon colors, albeit with the deep purple changed to lavender because Hasbro felt like being Takara for once. Personally, I prefer the toy colors because they were used in the (EPIC) 2004 game, and by the time I rewatched Armada when I was older, I'd seen LPs of the game dozens of times.
