That's what I thought too :lol  I wonder how Whirl would react if that turns out to be the case

    Dear Jack Lawrence,

Why the fuck are you drawing brainstorm\'s head that badly?

Bottom left panel, page 3. That\'s... Awful. Like brainstorm has been stretched over silly putty.

Positives: swerve! Whirl! Nightbeat! Brainstorm! NOT Anode! Intrigue!

I\'m having such a tough time with this book. While it is literally mtmte s3, it doesn\'t read or feel like the same book. I don\'t feel obligated to continue picking it up each month. A big part of is the art. It\'s amateurish, but more to the point, ill-fit to the story. It\'s so refreshing to see milne in op #4 this month, even as it reminds me how much better ALL of ll so far would be under his pencils.

I think the huge gap between 55 and ll1 hurt. But something\'s just off. I\'m still on board, esp with the rung reveal looking imminent. But it\'s the book of the three tf monthlies I least look forward to.

If the rung payoff is a letdown on the lines of tarns identity, I might be off.

Wow, two LL issues in one month?? Praise Primus!!

Any final bets on Rung's alt mode/function before it's (hopefully) revealed?

Also: "Nice guy. Nice wheel." This made me laugh for some reason. :D

(I can't explain why my post has so many slashes. Using my droid, but I wrote my comment on the newspost, not forum proper?)

I was thinking Scorponok. It's been literally a decade since we last saw him.

The more I look at that panel, the more it makes sense.

But one question remains: if it is in fact Killmaster, then how the heck did he survive being killed by Whirl?

Ah man I missed Brainstorm and Whirl.

This is my hope as well, would make sense given Sixshot's first new toy in 30 years and how Furman left his fate ambiguous.

    What happened to Scorponok anyway?

You mean how Schmidt left his fate ambiguous. The last time we saw him was in Spotlight: Metroplex, where Metroplex smushed him. (though he was shown to have survived)

Sent to Garrus-9 at the end of Maximum Dinobots. Was going to have a role in LSOTW, but got cut out.

And I think Killmaster is a pretty likely candidate. Whirl said he killed him... but all we have is his word for it.

He got arrested along with Grimlock at the end of Maximum Dinobots and then was never seen again.

Good question. Whirl said he crushed his brain, if I recall correctly, and I don't imagine it would have been easy for the Necrobot to extract such a large transformer from the middle of a Decepticon medical facility. Of course, it's always possible Whirl exaggerated the story :lol

That said, the silhouette of the hand definitely looks right (even if the wand color is not).

Yeah, it's pretty likely that Whirl could have over exaggerated the story. *fingers crossed that it's Killmaster*

I'm guessing Killmaster since it appears to be a Whirl-centric issue, but it could be (0.00000000000000001% chance) Star Saber since they want to usher in Power of the Primes

Also, I'm guessing the flower comes from Starscream since it mentions Turmoil, on a side note: Spark flowers= new Aequitas/Impetus
