I'm wondering how they're going to handle the Hearts of Steel Transformers. I hope it's new characters that happened to arrive during the 1800's and not the same characters from the original event.

 

I'm thinking dimensional travel with some of the HoS characters crossing into the main Hasbroverse.

I wouldn't get to excited, as that hipster thats also on the same cover is apperently his human form?

I'm now imagining all BW fans as hipsters, it makes so much sense.

He just found out he's a robot sleeper agent. He's having an identity crisis  

 

He's one of the protagonists of the Revolutionaries book, so I'm pretty sure he's fighting them alongside his teammates, not teaming up with them.

Also just noticed all of the bots on Rung's cover look like victims of Primus Apotheosis?

 

We'll find out in due course. But regardless, it'll be great to see Predaking on the page.

 

Um, I mean a few have Primish forehead crests and one has hella eyebrow plate, but only one has a faceplate, and we can't see the colors.

What they do seem to be is not characters from the Rodimus' crew. So either they're all from the Necrobot's experiment or this is a different Rung we're seeing...

 

Okay, there are a few more faceplates mixed in. The one in the back could be Energon Wingdagger, and there's a Hotspot or Sentinel on the left.

 

Well, for my simple and optimistic mind this confirms a Predaking combiner will be released in the next 2 years. Also something-master dinobots (to fight him of course) with seats on their backs like the g1 toys.
