I hope that people vote for Chaos.

Chaos means interesting storytelling and fits the narrative of 99% of Matrix bearers.

EDIT: That's not to say that Order/Honor are bad storytelling... but what we need to be thinking when we vote is "which direction do we want to see in the comics, and will this give us good or bad stories." All three options will result in very different narratives which will be reverberate in the comics.

 

Order might be interesting. Perhaps a new faction where the characters don't have to be defined by the old labels. Puts me in the mind of the Transtech.

The war is over in the comics. Maybe the war should be over in the toyline too.

 

Sounds interesting but it's not really clear whether we're voting for an existing character to become a Prime or an all new character based on a principle.

 

I know it's boring and predictable, but I am voting Rodimus Prime, no question.

 

Rodimus Prime is already used as an example, so he likely won't be included. Besides it will end up being Windblade or Starscream anyway.

 

So the third part of the Trilogy kicks off in 2018? Titans Return is going to be around for a while, then. Not that I'm complaining.

 

Order seems intriguing but I'm probably going to choose Honor because I want to keep things simple between Autobots and Decepticons.

Also, I'm definitely voting for a female Prime.

 

Well, one thing is already certain. With another fan vote in the works, we can all look forward to another new character that everyone says they hate.

 

I'm just hoping they've got an updated Rodimus Prime planned. As for the fan vote, it'll probably turn out to be different from what everyone thought they voted for.

That said I'm still totally voting Chaos even though I believe these votes are intentionally rigged to disguise Hasbro's premade choices into the context of things that supposedly were chosen by fandom vote majority. We got Erector into the HoF voting and really forced Hasbro to scramble on that one, I'd love to screw with them again with how I'm not pleased by pretty much every decision they've made regarding the ongoing lore.

And then they'll make Windblade a fucking Prime because she's already the definition of 'edgy mary sue' right down to the paintjob - the only thing that she could reasonably even DO to be even more special short of being a resurrected Solus Prime (which would kill anything special about that being the only thing Hasbro did for Optimus being a resurrected #13) is to make Windblade Prime a thing. Not to mention Starscream already kinda was the leader of Cybertron because of something involving the Matrix IIRC so they'll just put in the Cityspeaker through some expository nonsense.

 

Everyone is expecting it to be Windblade, but it's going to be some weird orange jerk.

 

I was thinking something similar. As long as it doesn't end up looking something like PMOP with Windblade's head.

Interesting... We've quite a few Primes (or Convoys) over the years in multiple continuities, even if you don't count the Thirteen. I hope the toylike will bring back some other ones like Nitro Convoy, Megalo Convoy, Live Convoy, and Flame Convoy.

As for the voting, we're gonna end up with yet ANOTHER female fan voted character, aren't we?

 

I'd be surprised if the new Prime won't be a female since aside from Solus Prime there hasn't been any other known female Prime. Hope this changes that.
