So they are going Deluxe scale? Was hoping Voyager to match Brainstorm. Have some reservations now, though the pet merge gimmick seems cool.

 

Maybe they'll redo Brainstorm.

 

Looks like they are redoing Nightbeat, they showed off his headmaster, and the other images would indicate the other smaller scale headmasters too. My biggest issue from what I see is all the hollow plastic. Still nto crazy about Skullcruncher's face either, alt mode looks great.

 

Aw, dang, they're going with a toy-based head for Hardhead.

Ah, well. Still looks rad!

 

Hardhead makes me...very excited and stimulated. And I'm glad he uses the toy face. I hate his animation model face.

 

You know, we still haven't seen where Grax sits in Skullcruncher's alt mode. I'm guessing he isn't precariously located inside the big croc's mouth.  

 

There's a cockpit in his back, its just a panel not too noticeable.

Sadly, Nightbeat has no body.

 

It is shown in pictures in one of the other threads. A panel lifts up on the body to make a space to sit in. It looks like it can close with Grax in it, but there is no window to see him when closed.

 

Ok. I'm in.

But I'm bracing myself for the significant downgrade that will be the actual toys vs the renders.

 

Noticed in another thread, unless they release the bodies later. Some slightly generic bodies might be neat.

 

Kinda loving all these renders. While they are idealized with better "paint" schemes than the final releases, the hand painted models for stock photos are the same in that regard. Difference here is the designers themselves need to make these renders so we *know* everything is transformed correctly and the poses aren't terrible and awkward since the designers know how the joints look.
