Not gonna lie, the combined mode looks an utter mess.

Well, at least Trailbreaker got his name back, hopefully.

 

I still can't my brain around Sky Lynx. He just looks incredible.

The other Deluxes look good, but I've no need for most of them. Wheeljack turned out great, though. He's an absolute purchase.

Wait, a horrible thought occurred to me. What if Astrotrain is a retool of this? NOOOOO!

 

Skylynx surprisingly has one of the better torso modes, but the limbs look so out of place. (I think the Aerialbots would look better) But whatever, they're not suppsoed to be a team.

Skylynx is just so perfect, though.

Nice to see at least one Space Shuttle here. Although I really don't think i'm gonna use him as a combiner.

Maybe you should have made the other Space Shuttle combiner Hasbro hm? You ever think of that hm?

 

Man I wish Skylynx was leader or bigger oh well He'll still look nice in my collection. Also glad to see a new smoke screen don't care about the combine gimmick I just need a good smokescreen since the original classics mold disappointed me so much. I like trailbreaker but I think they could have used the Firstaid mold.

 

That Wheeljack is legit.

Well, now all we need is Bluestreak.

I'm kinda disappointed none of these were made to be Jazz or Sideswipe. How can you do Masquerade right without Jazz?

 

Smokescreen looks impressive. The others don't interest me that much. I've already got Prime Wheeljack for all my Wheeljack needs.

 

Kinda wished Sky Reign's jaw could open up to reveal a face Voltron style. Nonetheless, Sky Lynx looks great and I imagine he'll look pretty snazzy combined with the aerialbots.

 

Sky Lynx is gonna look PERFECT next to my Legends Figs, although a Leader class would have been better.
Now my #3 wish in the Transformers toyline has been granted.

Seriously Hasbro, you couldn't have at least used the Deadend version of the mold for Smokescreen? Between this and Blast Off, I'm very disappointed with you.

 

Sky Lynx is awesome by itself. The others and the combined mode look like complete shit.

 

So outside of Sky Lynx and Onslaught, everything else is a retool? Maybe I missed a bot somewhere but damn can we get some new molds sometime?

 

Honestly, having Wheeljack (who looks pretty nifty) be a Combiner limb has put into my head the idea that, confronted with the fact that Combiners are so strong, he kept coming up with new, ridiculous ideas for Autobot Combiners, to which Prowl or whomever sarcastically said "why not just make us all Combiners, then!?"

And so he did. (Would explain why Wheeljack is the most heavily retooled of them, too  )

Smh I would have bought Bruticus and Ruination from Hasbro too but they decided to be dweebs and get rid of mah space shuttle.

Movor as a jet? Oh yeah let's repaint Quickslinger into a white jet that can't possibly be a useless practice at all!

Honestly Takara you need to work your magic here because aside from your paint work on the Aerialbots and Stunticons you're winning the combiner wars.
