I have more upcoming product info gathered from Product Database. This time, I was sent info on the RID figures.

First up, the One-Step line. To go along with the reported Thunderhoof, Drift and Fracture, we also will be getting Quillfire (B4653) and Springload (B4652).

Next, the Legion class! A ton of stuff here. Along with the (I believe already confirmed) Fixit and Underbite we will also get some new versions of the main characters. There is a wave that will consist of a White Sideswipe (B2977) and a Black Bumblebee (B2976). The wave after that has Patrol Mode Strongarm along with a Legion Drift (B4684). Also part of that wave will be Thunderhoof (B4683), Clampdown (B4862) and Windblade (B4681).

Finally, the Warrior Class. After we get Optimus and Drift we will get Sideswipe (B1733), Jazz (B1734), followed by another wave having Fracture (B4686), and Megatronus (B4687). Please note that this Megatronus is NOT the Megatronus that was found earlier, as that one was 29.99.

If I had to guess, I think the Legion Windblade is the Legends Windblade Takara is making.

I totally called The Thirteen getting deluxe figures.

 

Finally, a second Warrior Decepticon. It only took another three waves after the first. Screw you Hasbro. And Legion Windblade, eh? Probably won't be anything like her IDW self, not that I care. She hasn't done anything outside of her own comic, which I haven't read.

 

I did not expect Windblade to show up. Wonder if this is based off the IDW fembot Windblade?

Also glad to see Fracture getting a Warrior toy though I wish there were far more Decepticons in the Warrior Class.Wonder if Megatronus is The Fallen himself or Megatron after taking on his original name before he became leader of the Decepticons?

 

Interesting new reveals. I'm most definitely going to be getting the Legion class Thunderhoof. Though I still hope we get a Warrior class figure of him some day. Windblade could be tempting as well.

While I was hoping the next one would be Thunderhoof, it is nice to see another Warrior class Decepticon in the works. That said, I don't have much interest in Fracture, so I'll likely be passing on him.

It should be interesting to see which Megatronus this Warrior class figure is. As much as I would like to see figures of the Thirteen, I'm not sure they would start off with Megatronus/The Fallen. It could be Megatron reverting back to the longer version of the name. I think both possibilities have about the same chance at being true. Hopefully the NYTF next week will answer this for us.

Actually, I think what Mr. Chaos is actually referring to is an actual Takara product. Their equivalent to Hasbro's 30th Anniversary line is known as "Legends". Though the Windblade in that line is just their release of the Generations figure, so there's no chance that's what this is.

 

Well, seeing as how it's confirmed that Optimus is traveling the afterlife and training under the original 13 Primes, I'd say it's not Megatron.

Yeah, I'm sure this Windblade has nothing to do with the "miniature hype machine" IDW Windblade. Just like we've gotten all those Drifts who aren't samurai and don't wield swords.

I'm quite interested in these new interpretations of Megatronus and Fracture. Also curious what final names those Legion redecos will end up with.

 

well..if Prime is in the same universe as this..and Megatron is dead..why could it NOT be megatron, or Megatronus? As in the scene in return of the jedi where you see the blue "afterlife" anakin skywalker?

Joy, Megatronus before Bisk or Thunderhoof, who are recurring characters. While we haven't heard ANYTHING for Megatronus.

"Megatronus" sounds interesting, just because of the though of Megatron's reappearance in the Prime universe. Sounds like he's reformed or something, judging by the name.

Really? I'm not. If anything, I'm kinda surprised that we haven't yet heard of a Warrior class Bumblebee repaint.

Edit: If this Megatronus figure really is The Fallen, I really hope they don't brand him as a Decepticon. The Thirteen should, imho, have their own faction emblem.

 

More likely it's his namesake, the Fallen, who is likely neutral. Although there's a chance he'll be marketed as a Decepticon.

 

That would be hilarious.   Just to see the intense rage that would most definitely follow.

All joking aside, It'd be awesome if Windblade, based on her IDW persona, made an appearence in RiD.

Also, part of me is hoping that this "Megatronus" figure is a figure of The Fallen, in some form.
