    Yep! 2008 model, the last Tib Hyundai produced before switching to the Genesis. I know it's not a true performance car, but I had no intention of buying something that goes 0-60 in 5 seconds anyways. That being said it's still a fun ride, *very* comfortable interior with an aftermarket stereo set and heated seats. Absolutely love it.

    My Brother has a '95 Black FD also.

    Almost got a 8 when I was shopping around for something to replace the 7 as the DD. Even then, prices were getting down to 10 grand ro so, but they were pretty beat already. They are very dam smooth to drive though, driven 4 different model years, and they were all extremely smooth, but the Protege was more practical, and has a more aggressive setup stock.

    Being the only company that really develops Wankels makes it hard to progress on the MPGs compared to everyone else running pistons. It will be back though, figure within 10 years when they adopt some of there Sky Active ideas over.

    My wife wants to get a bike (more Harley style than crotch-rocket), so I've said that I'd follow her in the Syclone on any road trip she wants to go on. Although, now that you mention that Can-Am, I'd probably be willing to ride something like that.

    Can't wait for the weather to warm up again. Long distance drives in it are effortless, part of the reason I picked it over the other pony/muscle cars out there

    No idea who that it, but he's got great taste in cars :)

    Mine is, but that's because everyone at Ford Aus. got drunk and decided that the 03-06 models needed a manual transmission where each gear change required prayer.

    Plus I'm also kind of ******ed, every time I've tried to learn in a manual shift; my brain just takes a fucking holiday and I can't time the shifts correctly. It's like a neuron that won't fire.

    Not mine, but I don't have any ready pics of my ride and it's covered in those dark red seed things that always fall on your car when you park it under a tree at the start of Spring. This is what is looks like, more or less;

    2012 Mazda2 Touring, comes with Automatic gearbox, six speaker interior audio, custom red-lined seating that you could sit in for hours, a recessed spoiler (not quite sure why a hatchback needs a spoiler), and wireless built-in bluetooth that can be set up so you can basically talk to your car when making calls. The only thing mine has that this one here doesn't is a strip on each side that's 'collision protection' strips which was dealer-installed. Bought it near the end of December with a generous discount on the sticker price as it was the last 2012 Touring on the lot and the dealer really wanted to be rid of it.

    I call it the 'Cliffjumper Custom', named after the Autobot and Char Aznable's infamously red mobile suits.

    They're fun cars and easy to work on... I've owned a few 65's and 66's and bought my first 65 when I was a senior in High School back in 1993.
