Kind of glad I had worked and missed that game. Too many ducks for my liking. Though good job to Seahawks on getting their first SB win. Now to see them again next season.

I wanted the Seahawks to win, but I didn't expect it to be by such a large margin. I have only messed up one pick in the nine years I have watched the Super Bowl, so I am 9-1 with my Super Bowl picks!

My favorite shot of the game was in the 4th quarter when they showed Peyton sitting on the sideline all sad and then they cut right to Eli up in his suite looking like someone just took away his ice cream cone. :lol

They missed the footage of Romo crying because he could have won the amateur pro am in golf, but choked a three point lead on the last hole on a 4 putt.

I kept wanting to pick Seattle but kept changing my mind back to Denver. Stupid me.

Anyways, funny how no matter how hard the NFL tries to make this an offensive, QB friendly league, the best defense still wins.

Man the Sea Hawks and that LEGION of BOOM! Those boys played a hell of a game all of them did defense, special teams and offense. I can't wait to see the Pro Mock tomorrow oh the things Rodgers will say to Wilson.

By all means congrats to the Seahawks, but man, from the opening gun and getting progressively worse through the game Denver took the field looking unprepared and uninspired. The biggest game of their lives and they showed up like it was a 2014 pre season game that didn't matter. By the time they realized the game was getting away it was loooooong gone. They were a team that never looked like they had the heart to win.

Manning has to be the best regular season QB of all time. That title is definitely his. As for playoffs? Not so much. Even in that SB against the bears, he shouldn't have won the MVP. Rhodes and Hayden/Grossman won that game for the Colts. He now has 3 TDs and 4 INTs in his SB appearances (with two pick sixes). Scary stuff. I realize Brady hasn't been fantastic in recent SBs, but he rarely makes mistakes. Certainly didn't turn the ball over in the AFC championship game against the Broncos.

EDIT: Also, that SB confirmed what I have known all season long. Manning no longer has the arm strength to make the long throws.

The more I watch highlights of this game, the more I think that while the Seahawks were a better team, the more important mismatch was how much better of a coach Carroll is than Fox.

I'm back! What a nice day. My team won, my family was together with no strife, and I'm drunk as a lord.
I was looking for a little more fight fro. MDenver, but the w is a w, and we finally get a ring.
Truth told, it was the best family day in a few years, and the game was kind of secondary to that. I have to write this with one eye closed.

I think the Denver Broncos is vastly overrated due to Peyton Manning scoring his team out of any potential jam it's in. Matter of fact is that if the team's in NFC, it'd probably rank behind Seahawks, Niners, and Saints. Simply put, the Broncos would be nothing without Manning, but the Seahawks can still win without Wilson. That's the difference in this game.

Tonight's defensive performance from the Seahawks reminds me of the bucs sb win. Ferocious defense and just enough offense. I'm glad to see brooks going to canton. Sapp lat year and now Derrick. Ronde and lynch will be next, and the recognition of one of the best defenses in the history of the league will continue to shine. I'm glad Bennett got a ring after schiano dumped him. Thanks Greg - you suck. MRSA toes on the line!!!!

I think that while tonights performance by Seattle's D was very very impressive, I would also like to point out that this is probably not the best TEAM win of all time. I would like to point out, that while I am a Redskins fan, San Francisco has absolutely murdered teams. Right after the 'Skins absolutely destroyed Denver 42-10 (6 Offensive TD's, 2 picks in the first half mind you) the 49ers routed Denver 55-10 and the Skins "total teamed" the #1 Offense in Buffalo in '91. There have been some terrific "TEAM" games, but it all starts in the trenches. Manning had no protection against a stellar D, and forced a ton of bad throws.

As far as 2014-2015, Hail To The Redskins!

Despite that, I don't think Manning got sacked once tonight though.
