Thanks to a breathing problem that has finally been officially diagnosed (tho other things also still need to be looked at), I can only go with yoga and walking for the foreseeable future. So I've been 'auditioning' yoga videos on Hulu so as to pick what type and what teachers I'm most comfortable with. Anyone have any recommendations? --Moony
I don't to any exercise, and eat tons of stuff, yet somehow I'm not fat. Or pudgy even. I don't know how.
Don't know much about yoga instructors but if get the chance to go on the website: shape.com type in yoga and you get a bunch of results, that's how I got my yoga stretch ideas.
I weight lift 3 times a week run 3 times a week for an hour each time. I weigh 145 kg and 6 foot 3 Built like a tank lolrun like one to lol
Haven't been exercising lately because gums around my tooth impact hurts, so I'm going to lay off a little. I exercises Saturday when it started to hurt now I think I'm paying the price for it now.
i'm really glad i've got my plan for the future set out... i've got 11 years to get real nice and muscly for the marines.
Tomorrow I will have my first ever session with a personal trainer at 7 am. So looking forward to it.
I certainly will. I may even track my progress by taking a pic of me every few months to give me the motivation to keep going.
I may be new to this personal training stuff, but I am pretty sure the personal trainer is supposed to be there as well. Oh well, just have to reschedule it then.
That sucks! I hope you can find one who is dedicated to their work. In other news, if you feel a soreness coming on, don't exercise on it. I ignored my body and went for a run even though my Quadriceps were tense. I now cannot run for 72 hours because of what I did.
Well that trainer called me to apologize and reschedule. I will give him one more chance but if he misses another appointment I am going to change my trainer and letting the gym know about it. Missing an appointment without letting me know first is simply inexcusable in his line of work imo.
I'm hoping I can get a Gym membership in the next month or two. I'd like to start working out, as I've got all the bulk, so I just want to turn it into muscle. Really want to work on my upper body strength and get rid of some fat. I'm hoping that, assuming I do manage to get the membership, I can go for an hour a day everyday until at least the end of the summer. That's a good solid four months. Hopefully it'll all work out.
