In 6th grade FHF were taken off the market in Phoenix and didn't reappear until I was in college. Those were the worst 9 years of my life.

America is going down the shitter because most Americans are too lazy to stand up and take any kind of action against these stupid policies. Most people will see something like this, get temporarily upset, shake their heads a little...and then forget all about it until the next stupid policy comes along. And the people putting these policies in place are well aware of that.

Honestly, when I first heard about this, my reaction was that they were banning them because some overly PC person had decided "flamin'" was derogatory towards homosexuals.

Depending on the location, either one would make sense.

yeah, teacher has a Master's in English, but is lecturing me on nutrition. and there were 4 spelling/grammar errors in the note.
upset is not the word i would use. Pissed.

In Chicago schools, they were telling parents they could not send lunches with their kids to school.
So a PB&J, 2 carrots and Propel is terrible?

what pisses me off is this attitude that schools know more about raising your kids than you do, but are very selective about which things they enforce. You need to feed your kid...but schools ignore bullying, refuse to admit Timmy can't read (he's in his 5th year of 2nd grade) and so on.

Cheetohs are at the bottom of the priority list, folks, unless they are trying to distract the parents from the fact the school is failing elsewhere.
