That sounds kinda fun, really. I can just imagine some little kid wearing a trenchcoat and handing out the candy in an alleyway.

Funny, they do something about the food but never the social issues going on in the schools.

Meh. Flamin' Hot Cheetos taste like garbarge anyway. I much prefer the Jalapeno flavored ones.

My school sells the "Baked!" version of these. After frying them, they bake it to remove some of the fats. I don't think that really works, since I've saw them refill the machines yesterday afternoon. They're empty by the time I get to school in the morning.

I had the same reaction when Japanese cartoons were banned in our country a long time ago for being too violent.

To be fair, that was back in a time when people thought "animated film/series" automatically meant "children's cartoon".

When I was in middle school they banned those instant kimchi noodles.

    And Yu-Gi-Oh cards.

    I'm mostly okay with this.

I mean, that's probably because when I saw the threads title I was POSITIVE that the reason they were being banned was because the name "Flamin' Hot" Cheetos was going to be construed as 'promoting the gay agenda.'

Thus, the nutrition and addiction reason almost make sense in comparison.

How about we just leave it at that so that we both have some faith in humanity left? :p

Coming from a guy in high school, I can tell you a bunch of them don't eat them just because they are tasty (which I don't find them to be). It's like a trend basically. Why it's so compelling to walk around with red fingers and mouth if you're only doing it to look cool is beyond me.

You should see California's education. An elementary school principal got arrested a few weeks ago for selling PCP and cocaine.

When I was in the 7th Grade they banned all candy. Atomic Fireballs were insanely popular at the time. My Dad took me to Price Club (Now Costco) and bought me cases of them that I sold of 50¢ each. I made a KILLING that year.
