Anyone who collects something because of what it will one day be worth. I feel like I'm pulling the "true fan" card by saying this, but you're not a real collector, you're a salesman. People like that are really turning me away from the Funko POP! "community".

I'm addmitadley annoying myself with this one, but Pokemon GO. Not because the app itself is annoying, or because I don't want it to exist, or anything like that. I'm annoyed because my phone's operating system (which can't be upgraded/updated) is just .2 iterations away from being able to play Pokemon GO. I want to, but I can't justify getting a new phone just for one app.

 

I'm curious. What kind of phone do you have?

 

All this talk of Pokemon Go, but my country doesn't even have it. I don't have a phone anyway.

 

Pokemon Go is so glitchy for me that its unplayable and unenjoyable. Waiting for an update before I properly play, all I have is a Bulbasaur & Pidgey.

See here's my big problem with it. I'm one the fans that I always there opening day for the game and friends and just people I know are always "oh you still play it" now this is out and they all hopped on the band wagon. Similar to the first transformers movie. People always saying why are you stil playing with those toys, movie comes out and suddenly everyone's "yea I live transformers I had all the originals I was there from the beginning, if you like something then go for it don't be one those " because it popular" douches.

 

A ZTE... something through Tracfone. Now, before anyone lays into me, I've used Tracfone for almost nine years, and it works for what I need out of a phone. The only problem I've ever really had with them is switching to a new phone. Wasn't always that way, but the past couple of times have been a real hassle to do.

That said, I'm not sure if it's something about the phone or Tracfone's service, but it doesn't seem like I can update the OS to a new version.

I've noticed a couple of people I know who previously didn't really care much about the franchise getting into the app. Not that I would discourage them, but it is a tad bandwaggoney.

As for myself, I was big into Pokemon as a kid, was out of it for a good while, and got back into it earlier this year. Frak, I've been greatley interested in Pokemon GO since they first announced it. I'm just not sure it's worth going through the hassle of getting a new phone for this one app. Though I'm sure the ten-year-old me would be slapping my current self upside the head for saying such blasphemy, lol

 

Thanks to stupid people I didn't even feel comfortable showing a guy and girl in there car parked by a poke stop but not in range my screen so they can see it. I got scared thinking I was about to get jumped so I just said yes and then I was like I gotta get to this Pokemon and bounced to the stop and crossed the street and went back to my house. Ugh I want to interact with fellow trainers but it's ruined because of a few people.

 

Better watch out bruh them gangbangers take pokemon go the most serious.

I only started doing it to keep my car's interior cool for this summer, but now I'm thinking "Fuck the shade," when I have to spend half an hour a day cleaning up the mess. Fucking bird crap every time and everywhere.

 

As a matter of fact yes, I am 26 years old so I was there. And no this is not about how it belongs only to my generation, I'm glad children still love it as it keeps it going and continuing. This also is not a slam against people who used to play and just grew out of it. This is about those who Chastise others because they still a children's video game but now that its popular its ok.

 

People who go onto a thread and post only complaining about the subject of said thread.

Also, people who think Animated is going to get another season. It's not coming back.

 

Middle-aged man noises. Like, when you hit 50 do you start just involuntarily snorting and hacking, etc? And it's always so loud!

 

It's just like an old car. There's going to be some leaking and funny noises involved.

 

I think old people reach a point where they just don't give a shit who they offend anymore (what with death knocking louder and more insistently on their door and all). I'm starting to get to that point myself.  

 

I think once Death stops being an esoteric concept and starts being that annoying asshole that wakes you up at night by playing shitty music, you're entitled to a few free passes on some social graces.
