This is a huge one for me. Another thing that drives me absolutely insane is when people leave their turn signals on for long amounts of time before making a turn/lane change or, worse, when they leave them on after they make said turn/lane change. I also can't stand people who loudly chew gum, especially when they make that cracking noise with it (there is absolutely no reason to do that, other than being sadistic enough to want to cause anyone around you to go insane enough to explode), or people who ride bikes in the road when there are sidewalks they can use instead. There are countless other things that annoy me to no end, but I can't think of them right now.

- that so little money is left for yourself when everything is paid every month
- that there's no club in or near our city that plays the music my friends and myself like
- cops busting parties because of drugs instead of catching real criminals

Yeah, I hate that. Everytime I was donating plasma I look like a heroin addict. Sucks in summer when you're wearing a t-shirt.

 

Those confounded translator's notes in anime fansubs. I don't fucking care about what such-and-such cultural nuance means. I just want to enjoy the show.

Also, the fansubs themselves. When your English subtitles for a line of Japanese dialogue read "Chikushou! That kisama is at it again! Ganbatte Cybertron-senshi... ikuzo!", you are a miserable failure at subtitling and can go die in a fire.

Before one of my many surgeries last year, had 2 nurses "attempt to start an I-V on my arm 8 times in places from my thumb all the way up to my shoulder/neck area. at the point where one said to the other, "I don't think that's a vein," i told them they were done.
they argued it had to be done and i said, "not by you two." Another nurse got one started (at my shoulder) and i went in to the Operating Room.
BUT...during surgery, they took that one out and placed another I-V in my wrist- palm side- which for two days meant i could not eat becaus i could not flex my hand or grip anything and my other arm was dead from a nerve block.

yeah, nurses who can't start I-V's should not be allowed to touch needles.

 

Exactly, and it only gets worse when that person leaves because when they do, they end up making the next guy look like the asshole. It's sort of like when people fart in an elevator while other people have yet to make their stop.

 

My little arguments with people regarding Family Guy's suckage. They still try to fight even when I'm right....

 

When my controller disconnects more than once during a game. I'd buy a new one but don't have money and 360/PS3 controllers are expensive. Needless to say, even if I'm hiding during multiplayer and the controller disconnects, I feel like chucking it across the room. A few others...

- My dog cleaning himself while trying to watch TV.
- My brother rocking on the chair. He does it all the time and it makes a very distracting, rusty squeaking noise.

When people type defiantly when they mean definitely. If it was a onetime typo, it would be alright but I see it so often it's like people seriously don't know the difference between "rebellious" and "guranteed".

When I'm made to repeat myself.

 

Then you act like the assholes they're attracted to in order to draw their attention, but they just wind up complaining that you're an asshole.

 

When people watch over my shoulder while I read, or I'm on the computer. Also, when people don't get that I don't always want to talk to people. Unfortunately, many people in my family are extroverts.
