We're already well on our way to the first 3 points, people just haven't noticed because they are still arguing about the 20th Century's bullshit instead of what's going to be important in this one.

The Matrix is pretty much already here in the form of social media as well, millions of people living in alternate machine-curated realities designed to keep them mentally occupied whilst the owners of the systems extract valuable resources from them. It's just that the owners are people that want data to generate money as opposed to robots that want energy for life.

Honestly, the Matrix or something like it is one of the better outcomes I can conceive of. At least in that one, human life remains a critical resource and therefore is preserved. And preserved quite happily/comfortably, too for the most part.

Most of the other alternatives short of us simply not ever creating human or better level self-improving artificial general intelligence to begin with are... well, "unpredictable" is the mildest term so I'll go with that. :lol

It certainly did. So remember everyone, don't do what the Quarians did. When the emergent A.I. with a physical platform asks "Does this unit have a soul?", you answer "Yes, the capacity to ask that question demonstrates the self-reflective ability of a sapient being" or something equally sincere and non-threatening.

    Never confuse intelligence with wisdom.

Fascinating parallels, can't say they occurred to me but I don't think I've watched The Matrix or used Facebook in many years.

Keep this in mind, there's a number of Optimus Prime/Mario mashups all over thanks to Peter. And before you ask, yes.

    Grimlock is Prime's Yoshi.

Justin Beiber makes good music. He and his antics as an individual are annoying, but the little bugger makes good music to vibe to.

Ok, I'll admit to singing that Baby song out loud before. But never when someone else was around.

The Loud House is a generally well-received show, especially after a decade of terrible Nicktoons.

Welcome To The Wayne is NOT a Gravity Falls rip-off, and i hate that people keep referring to it as such.

And al pachino was in a movie lusting after adam sandler in drag and he was in the godfather and heat...

A great actor is capable of being shit from time to time. Bad role is bad regardless past work.

Hell frank welker was scooter on gobots. Just because he was megatron doesnt mean I cant think scooter's voice sounds like welker sucked down helium then tried to swallow his tongue thus being one of the worst voices ive ever heard
