Watched one of Plinket's reviews and I don't see the merit. Sure he tears what he's reviewing to shreds and then some but the humour felt too cruel and discomforting to make me laugh.

Good point. But still I found JW as a whole to be a CGI-crammed letdown. :(  I'm just glad I went in with low expectations.

I don't get the appeal of bacon. From my experience, it is simply salty, greasy and fatty without any real balance. I have seen it masterfully used in beans, omelets, green beans and cabbage, however. Maybe even burgers. On its own it just is not all it's hyped up to be, in my opinion.

Mother-in-laws don't seem that bad. Family reunions, on the other hand... :lol

The Deadpool movie sucks ass. I never got to see it on the big screen, and was happy as I settled into my seat on a long haul flight to see it in the movie selection. I hated it. It sucked.

What works really well in a comic book, just didn't work for me as a movie. I just didn't find it funny or entertaining. I appreciate the effort and love that went into the movie, I do, but it was crap. And for the love of god...will somebody tell Ryan Gosling to stop huffing helium so he can get rid of that whiney little voice.

My brother keeps bugging me about watching one of his video reviews. I barely made through the first third of it before giving up. I seriously cannot stand his voice and I really don't find him funny nor entertaining like at all. And before anyone asks, the video review in particular is Star Trek: Generations. How can anyone stand all of that is way beyond me. And please don't bring up his overly long reviews of the Star Wars prequel trilogy, people. I already got enough of that crap from my own brother.

Interesting. I actually enjoyed Deadpool, but I can see why some people didn't like it. The film filled a tiny little niche in the superhero movie market, and the jokes can be hit or miss. The film is also barebones in terms of plot and structure, but I love it just the same. I think the thing I admire the most is the effort that was put in; they could have just churned out a soulless $55 million work.

I liked Plinkett's Titanic and Star Trek movie reviews. I don't care for his other stuff though. His style does get old quickly.

I kinda don't like the majority of Marvel films. I find them boring and sort of hard to watch in quite a few notable cases. One that comes to mind immediately in that regard is Avengers: Age of Ultron. With these films, they often take on a sort of typical action movie vibe, with humor thrown in there sometimes to the extent of me feeling like it was forced in. I feel like it has compromised the weight of situations at times. I love humor. It's my heart and soul, but it isn't often used in a way that catches my attention. Guardians of the Galaxy is the only one that I find funny, and one of the few that held my attention all the way through.

As some of you already know, I really didn't like Batman V. Superman. However, I didn't mind the "Martha" scene that much.

Not sure if this is unpopular, but I LOATHE the following two phrases:

"Legit shook" and "I can't even" One makes you sound like you're an uneducated twit, and the other I want to always say "finish sentences?" as a response.

^I feel the same way when people say "the feels" or "right in the feels". It makes it look like that can't even use basic grammar.
