I still stand by my first comment, regardless of his intent, he's a fucking coward.

I clicked on it when you posted it yesterday. We have The Pentagon Channel here as well as all the stateside news (FOX, CNN) channels, so we've been getting updates. Thanks.

Totally not related to Fort Hood, but I got a little shadow box put together with some awards and such and figured I'd share it here:

That's a really nice shadow box. Tastefully laid out, organized, professional looking. Great job!

Thanks. That stuff was all sitting in a drawer somewhere and it seemed like a big waste. I'm pretty proud of what I accomplished in my 10 years so might as well put something together and display it even if it is just sitting on my desk next to an unpainted Starscream prototype Palisades statue.

Yeah, UCMJ, like federal law, allows for the death penalty, although it's definitely not utilized regularly.

I'll have to respectfully disagree with you also. My opinions about the shooter and the implications of the situation aside, terrorism is asymmetric warfare waged with the intent of forcing political change by striking at non-military targets. The wording of that definition is my own, I admit, but I think it's accurate.

The shooter attacked soldiers--not civilians--and there's no evidence as yet that he was attempting to cause political change. A terrorist would've had a statement, left a video, etc. Otherwise, how would the government and the people he was attempting to terrorize know what he wanted?
Feedback here! Criminals are HOT.

That is nothing to be sick about If he actually does open up it would be a breakthrough in the field of psychology, I'm actually very anxious to see what his mindset was/is when the information gets released.
