My record player spins too fast. Help.

So I have this fairly new record player from oh say 2002 2003. I bought it for the parents as a christmas gift and they don't use it so they let me have it. I recently bought the new DMB album on vinyl so I was very excited. I'm here playing it and it has 3 speeds and none of them sound right.

It's a Crosley record player. Anyone have an idea on how I can fix this?

I'd say exchange it but you'd have to travel to 1055

Actually, I'm pretty sure if you have a home audio/electronic repair store, they can probably help you out.

If you insist of being an early adopter of these advanced gadgets you sometimes have to wait for a bug fix.... have you tried clearing away the cobwebs to remove the bugs?

You should be able to adjust the speed on the motor, there will be a small hole in it for adjusting the belt drive
