I really hope we can workout some type of deal with Boston for some young pitching with young catching going to them. For Sale/Trade Wants Feedback |

Tampa is definitely a fluke just like the Tigers (and I am from Michigan *sigh*)
New York can buy everyone they want but they won't buy a championship, it hasn't worked for a few seasons eh?
just my two cents http://brocklock.deviantart.com/ Check out my Design a Transformer contest entry! http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/design...wreck-gar.html |

The wins might not bear it out because the division will be tougher, but their line-up will produce more runs and their starting pitching should be really good. I am concerned about their bullpen though. They were great last season, but can they repeat it?
2. Detroit's pitching was abominable last season, but they still have an owner who is willing to spend and lose money to win. I think they'll be better this season and be more like the Detroit of a couple years ago. |

1 year-$4 million deal with club option for 2nd year. Probably awaiting a physical before final confirmation.
Holliday and Giambi are definite upgrades to the offense. Now if they could get a pitcher (BEN SHEETS)... |

Getting Lowe is a must and another starter like Sheets would place the rotation as one of NL's best. Unfortunately Omar only knows how to play games and wait things out. Not getting Manny may be Mets' undoing this year too. I just don't see how Mets can produce the same # of runs as 2008. Wilpons are stupid to not want Manny. I just hope they'll sell the team to a guy like Mark Cuban cuz they don't spend like a big market team sometimes.

Wasn't a huge contract ($1.5 million, I heard) so if he sucks it won't be a big hit... he's generally been a pretty good pitcher when he can stay on the field, so let's all hope and pray shall we? |
