I know people have said it, but I'll say it again anyway:
Why did it have to be someone like him? He seemed like a nice person overall, never was an annoying media presence, and almost everything he touches is entertaining and top-quality. If this happened to Tom Cruise, Paris Hilton, Britney Spears, Ashton Kutcher, etc, I wouldn't even care. Might even laugh.
But Christopher Lloyd? It's just not fair!

I feel bad for the people who will be living in tents this winter because they have nowhere else to go now. At least they're in southern CA instead of a more northern state and so won't be freezing to death. Edit:Something just occurred to me - are there any known TF fans who lost their collections in these fires?
