???

That's ridiculous. They earned it and Arizona just didn't make the plays when they needed to on defense.

It was a fun Super Bowl, aside from that awful, awful halftime perfromance by The Boss, who is so overrated.

What's rediculous...The Steelers were handed the Lombardi Trophy after they handed the Cardinals their asses.

Here's hoping that SF's number 6 trophy is not to far away.

I watched the game. did you? Did you see holding every time Woodley and Harrison came around the corner? Did you see Hartwig not hold his man on the safety? Or how about when Big Ben's knee not touch the ground before he crossed the goal line on the first possession. The only reason it was close is because the refs called it that way.

I saw the holding by the Cardinals, seems the refs did too as the Cards were flagged 4 times for it. I did see Hartwig holding on the safety (though Tomlin had intended on taking the safety anyway), and on one of Dansby's sacks where he was draped on Dansby's back, which it's amazing Dansby still managed the sack. Are you kidding, Ben's knee was clearly down, and if they didn't call that, Hartwig illegally pulled him into the endzone. How about Harrison hitting a player two times after the play was over and not getting ejected? Yeah, the refs totally were favoring the Cards. Did the refs tell the Steelers' safeties to split wide and let Fitzgerald catch and run up the middle for the TD? Steelers didn't hand anyone their ass, Cards were almost more than they could handle, they just ran out of gas on defense the final drive.

Hilarious. I've been hearing all morning about how the refs basically handed the game to Pittsburgh. I don't particularly agree with either position on that one. Pittsburgh won, fairly, but it wasn't an ass-pounding like people want to believe it was.
