| | Survived Huriicane Dolly Join Date: Jul 2002 Posts: 282 Location: The Rio Grande Valley - TX Collection Count: 300+ | Category 2 Hurricane Dolly hitting South Texas Hey folks, just wanting to ask you all to keep our little area here in the Rio Grande Valley...ie...Deep South Texas in your prayers. Don't know if you all know but we are getting hit with a Hurricane.
It was a Cat. 1 but just updated to a Cat. 2. Here in the Rio Grande Valley we haven't had a Hurricane in a couple of years and a major one since 1967 when Hurricane Beulah hit. I mean its not so big or powerful but still its been a while for us. The fear in this storm is not the wind but the rain because we are prone to flooding and are expect 8 + inches to fall.
So if you pray keep the Rio Grande Valley, us folks, down here in them.
