My roommate's got a pretty bad infestation right now, and all the recomended programs scan for free, but won't fix anything till he hands over some money.
Now, personally, I don't trust paying for this type of thing since Nortin overlooked a rather bad infection on my box, and my roomate gots some issues of his own.
So my question to you: Are there any good protection programs that are still FREE?  Quote:
