News Credits: 1 | saw it last night. awesome movie. stayed close enough to the source material to keep me happy and still made for a great movie. some scenes that I really wanted to see were omitted, like the "you are SO fucked" scene, but that's okay.
I'll give it 8.5/10
solid horror movie. the vampire is now officially a bad ass.  |

Yes, I tend to be doing this alot, but humor me here. I didn't wanan start a thread for something that already exsisted.
___________ Holy Crap...! I'm not sure what took me so long to see this movie but thank God for Starz! Its been on all week and I've either gone out of my to avoid it or end up watching it everytime I land on the Channel its showing on. I'm no Horror officiano, but 30 Days of Night has to be the best Horror movie to come in a long time.
At least from the ones I've seen (all of which were recommended to me or watched out of pure curiosity). Anyhow, I loved this movie. I was surprised by all the great performances from the cast. I've never had anything against Josh Hartnett in concerns to his acting, but he was just stellar in this movie; He really put his all into the character Eben. Ben Foster as The Stranger emitted the right kind of creepy in his performance. I loved the appearance of the vampires; very different, they actually made me feel uneasy during. The cold envrionment really set the tone of the movie as well. Quick Question: Does anyone own the Two Disc FYE Edition of 30DON? I've spotted said edition on Amazon.com and I'm wondering if its worth buying over the Single Disc Edition.  "Burn your tongue; Your a liar because someone disagrees with you," | |

The Blu-ray is stunning.
Starz sucks though, the same movies have been on that channel for years now.
