#1 | | what the doctor ordered Join Date: Jul 2007 Posts: 711 | MSN or AIM? I got into a debate with a friend of mine over which was better: MSN or AIM. I know, pretty silly debate, but we do this alot. XD
Anyway, she sided with AIM, saying how she liked the "stalker" aspects of it (I told her that was creepy) - you know, how you can just create as many s/n's as you want and follow people around and they'll never even know. She mentioned to me how she missed the "warn" system, though. I'm glad it's gone personally - it made AIM really annoying.
I sided with MSN which was always my preferred messenger of choice a few years back. I hardly go on anymore (though that's starting to change now) and even though I've got an ancient version on my computer, I still prefer it over AIM. Why? Not sure. I just like how you can keep track of who's keepin tabs on you. And I'm not 100% sure, but I believe AIM never supported webcam conversations which I loved doing with my friends, although this may be different now. And I just like MSN's setup better. It's also my "secret hidey-hole" Unless I really like a person, they aren't getting my MSN information. It's been that way for me for years; even when I wasn't using it, I'd give out my contact info to people I liked.
I'm also debating on fully updating MSN, but before I bother updating it, I just wanted to get opinions on the newest version as well.
I haven't seen anyone ask this question in recent times, and I'm just bored and curious. So what about you guys? Which do you prefer and why? Click here to see my desserts! |

But she has the latest version - so that might be it. Perhaps I won't update MSN if newer versions give people nothing but problems. o.o Click here to see my desserts! |
