Just sucks that it had to effect a fellow board member.
Scalpers have been ripping off music fans for years and everyone just says it's OK because of our free market economy. Now that they're scalping tickets for a kids concert, people are finally getting up in arms about it. Something needs to be done about this bullshit. Ticket scalpers are lower scum than toy scalpers, too bad there's more money to be made there (in tickets).
I read earlier today that a company that was originally from where I grew up in Ohio but later moved to Pittsburgh made the program that scalpers use which is an automated bot that floods ticketmaster with orders the moment tickets go onsale, working the system automatically. The company that made it refuses to admit that it is a bot. |

I would go batshit insane having to sit through something like that, and you just KNOW the wife would make me be the one to take them.

I'ma be the guy you see indoctrinating his 8-year-old kid at a real concert. If the kid ever starts to get sucked into High School Musical 17 or whatever the Disney channel is whoring out come that time, I'll make the kid listen to Ministry until he/she snaps out of it. |
