Hello to all my fellow transformers fans. I have been a transformer fan since grade school when my mom first brought home a transformer toy as a reward for doing well in class. That was going on 30yrs ago. I can't remember exactly which one I got first, but I remember getting the constructicons very early into my collection. My mom brought home a different one every day of that week and I took them upstairs to my neighbor to form devastator. Greatest moment of my life(no, seriously  ) I've seen all the g1 animated series and the headmasters continuation from japan. I loved the animated movie. I think I cried the first time I watched optimus die. I am a diehard old-school g1 fan, so bay's movies really suck in my opinion. The 1st one was decent, but it went all downhill from there. I didn't even bother to see age of extinction. I am starting up a collection again now and although I was aware of this site some time ago, I have to say it's really flippin awesome here. So far, my first two purchases have been apollyon megatron and masterpiece soundwave(w/ laserbeak.) I'm trying to collect the rest of the cassettes then after that I will probably add the seekers then onto the combiners with maybe some dinobots thrown in there as well.

P.S. My favorite character is who I made my name here after...........lol, just kidding. I'm honestly not sure if I have an actual favorite. I just like so many.

I've been an on-again-off-again Transformers fan since the Armada days. My favorite series so far is the G1 cartoon. I've also seen episodes of Transformers Energon, Cybertron, Animated, Prime and Rescue Bots, and I enjoyed the latter three. Not sure about the former two, my memory's fuzzy. There's some series I'm missing, but I plan to get to them soon enough.

I've also decided to check out some Transformers games. Devastation is fun, if repetitive and short, and I beat War for Cybertron. Currently on Fall of Cybertron now. Yes, I'm years late to the party, but better late than never, eh?

Hope I don't bother anyone, and that we can be friends.

Hey guys!

I wanted to begin the first part of this following paragraph by saying that I am not new to both this fandom and the franchise. I am including

The rest, as you can see, is simplified.

1984/1985-1988 = Fan of anything that transforms. Transformers ends up winning out, but not before other toylines have caught my interest.

1989-2010 = My fandom was slowly fading, with all revived attempts failing. I wrote my first two articles for a different series, and with the kind of passion I now have for Transformers.

2011 = My interest in Transformers is revitalized after seeing a "2010" Predaking giftset at a Toys"R"Us n Koriyama, Fukushima, Japan.

2021 = I begin my first return to collecting Transformers with the "2010" Predaking giftset. I also obtain a few exclusives.

2013 = I make the right decision by following fan blogs. I made the huge mistake of joining the wrong fansite. My experiences turned out to be the second worse, and my fandom is virtually undone.

2014-2016 = I switch to 'Sword Art Online' and spend a large amount of time importing my collection. This ended due to burn-out, and I decide to the Transformers franchise.

2016 = I make a few missteps getting back into collecting Transformers. After deciding that the Beast Era was out, I followed up with numerous steps that end with the 1987 toyline. This is concluded with me targeting the Legends and Unite Warriors line.

2017 = I hope to be all caught up, have no financial issues, and be submitting the larger pieces to AFA.

As for who I am, here are the basics:

- I have Asperger's, and can connect this variation to both my late father, and my famous (albeit both late and distant) cousin. I am working on some of the bigger issues I face.

- I am currently a Takara Tomy fan. I prefer their fiction and will try to figure out the portions that do not have a much needed backstory.

- My goal is to have all of the Legends and Unite Warriors pieces tied to Takara's 1987 toyline.

And even though I have a few fan-based theories that fill in the gaps left by United EX and Unite Warriors, I will turn that into a side project. Because my primary hope is to become a more valued member here. Something I did not get the chance to experience, and will do my best to do since you guys all seem superior in the awesome department.

Plus... If you have any questions, need help, or whatever, feel free to contact me. And if I do not respond, assume that it is because I have "Dark Souls" Fortress doing some soul grinding. That is all.

I'm a guy who likes robots that transform. Never been too into the show though as a kid I watched it on VHS and loved it. I didn't care about Transformers for the longest time (Going through a "NO, I'M A GROWN UP NOW" phase). I was quite into Gundam models and anime figures but always found them lacking, then I bought a few transformers and now I'm here. I still have a small collection but I wanna expand it. I'm also not too lore knowledgeable, I just like the cool looking ones.

Hey guys. Some of you may now me from Seibertron- I decided I might as well expand my sphere of influence a little and visit these boards too.

I've been a Transformers fan since 4 years old when I got my first TF, RID Side Burn (who is miraculously still functional) and have been collecting ever since. I'm not a huge G1 die-hard, though I am in the process of watching through the old cartoon, and I appreciate all incarnations of the Transformers. I'm not a big comic reader and am mostly into Transformers for the toys (I largely buy figures I think look cool). I love third party stuff, though I hate actual KOs.

Aside from Transformers I'm a huge anime nerd (Evangelion being my absolute favourite) and love action figures and model kits in general. I'm also a 40K addict, and a mild gamer. I love drawing and am always looking to hone my art skills.

So uh, yeah. That's me.

 

I just discovered this topic...Hi there, I'm Ninjanicktf. Due to a little issue, I haven't been here that much (Hence it saying I made this account in 2013 yet my oldest post was from earlier this year) So let me introduce myself:

I like Comic Books, Anime, Comics, Cartoons, and robots. I've loved Transformers since I was eleven, with a relatively small collection of about 60-70 Transformers.

 

I've been a member of this board for a long time, but I haven't posted in who knows how long, so I think it would be a good idea to reintroduce myself.
I'm Mike, I'm 33 and I'm from Kansas. I also have Pervasive Developmental Disorder, a high functional form of autism, meaning that my ability to socialize normally is severely inhibited.
I've been a Transformers fan most of my life, starting with the mid 80s when Transformers really exploded onto the scene.
I'm also love heavy metal, barbecuing, cars, and the outdoors.

 

New but old

So I joined this site back in 2004 during the 20th anniversary celebration. I had loved transformers growing up, and was heavy into the Beast era.

One day in 04 I randomly thought "hey I loved that TF theme song when I was little. I'm gonna look it up." My search brought me here, back when sound bites and videos were on this site. I saw the 20th anniversary video that was done by a few of the admins, and was hooked. I think it might have been scenes from the 86 movie that really hooked me.

From then on I dug deep into the lore and never turned back. I was 16 then. I made, and misspelled my user name (fiire_dragon_88), but felt it was finally time for a better more appropriate screen name. I ahve taken the past couple of years off of TF in general, but am now jumping back in with style.

So I am glad to be back, and continue my Transformers appreciation!!
