I can relate with you 100%. I had a small collection of G1's when I was a kid. All loose figures and played with but I did have a few nice ones. Sold them off in the early 2000's to get some cash to work on my old car. Then of course the 07 the Bay movie came out and all my memories and interest in the transformers came back big time. I have been picking up transformers since then here and there. Like you say I try to pick the ones up I have watched on the G1 cartoon and then my favorite movie characters. Trying not to flood over with toys but after collecting for over 16 years it sure starts piling up. I am a big fan of the studio series line and the War for Cybertron seige, earthrise and kingdom series toys. The G1's are my favorite line but some are way out of reach price wise. I have picked up some nice reissue's from the G1 toys and lately a few masterpiece figures of my favorite characters. Like you I'm pretty new here myself. So far lots of very nice folks on here and welcoming to new comers.

My friend got me to watch Animated and wow it blew my expectations   So I joined the fandom. And here we are... (Hahahah no way, Kirby reference?????) Btw idgaf about TF spoilers so you can talk those spoilers to me if you like, I'm pretty chill abt it.

Other than that, I'm an artist who is good at drawing cute anime girls and bad at drawing robots even if simplified. I make music, and I write too. But my most active occupation is being a clown. I am the Supreme Protector of All Cute Things™. Also I like Kirby, Idolmaster, Touhou, PriPara, rhythm games, and other shiz I like. Strawberry is cool. Nice to meet you >:3

If you're new to Transformers, I'd recommend hopping on the comics by Daniel Warren Johnson from Skybound Entertainment, they're brand new, and they're great!

 

hey, i'm new. Baltmatrix keeps referring to the TFW2005 site, and then i noticed there is a forum here. I wondered if it was alive or dead. It's alive! I thought Forums died long ago, in days of old.
So, I've been collecting Transformers since before they were called "Transformers"...okay, Shogun Warriors and Micronauts were my favorite toys of my childhood that helped bring the age of Transformers to the USA. I always loved robots, and not just transforming ones. I keep making Youtube videos to try to reach out to fellow collectors, but not many people reply. I have been super-stoked about the new BLOKEES and can't find anyone else that wants to talk about them, even other YouTubers that have them. I try to reply to every video i watch, but rarely get a response. So...what else is there to so say? I mean, we all like TF, but what else should we share? I mean, I have over a half a century of experiences.
EDIT: I meant to include that my first "Transformer" was TANK from Gobots...okay, so i first saw both lines at a Toy Store when i was a kid, and I chose TANK because he looked more Shogun Warrior than the other affordable robots. After getting him, I can't recall what came next.

We currently do have a thread dedicated to the Blokee model kits, but it's a little tricky to find because "Blokee" is listed in the heading as "Buluke." Come join the conversation here.

I have only bought two of the Blokee kits available, Rise of the Beasts Mirage and Rise of the Beasts Arcee, and I think they're great. You'll find some of my thoughts and photos of the toys somewhere toward the most recent end of the topic.
