"Live Free or Die Hard has more explosive action than the first three combined. Of course, the first three were more situational, but it's not a bad thing to go bigger. It doesn't feel like they ran out of ideas. On the contrary, because they push it so hard, Live Free or Die Hard has action so inventive I've never seen anything like it before."
and
"For all the talk of the PG-13, there is more carnage in this movie than in any R-rated film I can remember. Really, PG-13 is the new R. They play a sound effect over the MF but you know what he's saying. He still calls people names like jerk-off." http://www.canmag.com/nw/8151-live-free-die-hard-review

I'm stoked for Ratatouille myself. 100% positive thus far. http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/ratatouille/
*edit* Re: the Pg-13 vs R rating, this is an interesting read.

...Sure, this is the least wet Die Hard film, but it’s still a very violent movie, with dozens of people being killed by gunfire, more probably killed in car accidents of varying stripes, a number of seemingly serious injuries, and one guy chopped to pieces in a really big fan. It makes you wonder just what the fuck a PG-13 even means anymore. It makes you realize how totally broken the rating system is. | |

It was the scene in the truck and the Jet is shooting at him...It was pretty killer.
Could be worth it. |

I don't know if I'd agree that it's the best Die Hard ever, but I definitely enjoyed it, and, again, it's got all the good McLane stuff, but it also points out some REAL threat issues while doing it. Thuroughly pleased.

The big thing I noticed about it being PG-13 was the lack of blood, but its not really missed.
Check this movie out, its well worth it and a great addition to the franchise. |
