I've got to say that I've been to Loch Ness. And I didn't believe for a second there was anything in that lake.

I didn't think there was anything either, just a tourist trap with a gift shop that sold Loch Ness French Ticklers. For reals!

It's just nice to have 'oddball' things like this to lighten the tone of today, and much of that community is built on the myth and would be harmed if it was debunked.
That part of Scotland is utterly gorgeous in it's own right, but the myths adds a nice additional atmosphere to it.
And the Nessie legend led to one of the best episode of Gerry Anderson's STINGRAY, so I will always thank 'him' for that. 
Being called an 'idiot' by a fool sort of cancels things out I reckon.. | |
