Well Guys i work for yahoo tech support and i have been told that we are clsoing down yahoo auctions. http://auctions.yahoo.com
The internal rumor is that yahoo is gonna be buying ebay Which is strictly rumor right now. Now evidenice at all. to support that rumor but that is the current rumor.
The last day to bid or buy on yahoo auctions is june 16th sorry for leaving the date out. |

Like i said it is an unsupported internal rumor. | |

Which would make sense since they basically integrated their IM services already. The speculation behind this rumor is that Microsoft wants to compete with Google in the "on-line industry".
I've also heard rumors that Yahoo is trying to grab Facebook.com too in there own efforts to compete with Google/Myspace.
So if Yahoo gets Facebook and Ebay, and then Microsoft gets Yahoo, me thinks the world gets screwed.
